I sub contract to companies with my truck and chipper and a 2nd climber it doesn't fill my diary I use contract climbing and my own jobs to keep the diary as full as possible my advice would be to find a chipper that u can afford to not have working every day at first then when u have established yourself either with enough contracting or your own work upgrade the chipper to suite your needs either just newer or bigger and newer only advice some one els may think totally different

  14. Hi Tommy if you are wanting to get into doing people's bigger take downs just a piece of advice I have been doing this for the last 15 years in the north east and u will have to be willing to travel even just for a days work u will soon cut all the trees down neat your house [emoji6]

I personally think there is plenty more important thing's those liberal ? could be doing with there time than trying to stop tree work happening that is going to happen no matter how many idiots hang onto brash on the way to the chipper it will still get chipped and the trees will still keep coming down !! They should go to the local parks and volunteer there time and plant some more trees or pick some litter up [emoji109]

  19. They have what's called felling season in Germany and often boost a company's staff to handle the work that needs to be completed buy a certain date I suspect it's this reason
  20. I no what u are saying about not wanting to be a guinea pig buying the first of a new saw series I made the mistake of buying a 575xp it was [emoji90]

  22. I am making the transition from contract climber to company owner presently 15 years of doing big trees every day definitely wears on u I have loved it and I haven't stopped completely yet when I do contract now it's a nice break from staff and customers almost like a wor king holiday
  23. What size machine do u want a operator with it ? Is the a reason u arent renting one from a company who rents chippers ?
  24. Ply boards are brilliant skidsteer can turn the machine a full 360 on one
