    Rates

There is no point comparing rates from kent to the rest of the country yes down south u can make more you also pay for your mortgage or rent and many other things I have subbed all over the country and the world all this going on about 150 is nowt and it should be more I charge different amounts for different companies depending on how greedy they are what sort of work they are gunner want me doing easy day to day tree is less then been flogged up and down big takedowns all sometimes I am on my way home at twelve if I decided my day rate into 4 hrs I make allot more than that chippy staying on sight till 5 every day at the end of the day my skills decide what time I am finished not some horrid sight manager on a power trip and a bonus scheme I dislike the amount of comments made from non subby climbers thinking they no finances of what I should or shouldn't make unless I have been on ur sight and wotrked u have no clue

  15. I personally just prefer the look of the high top which is what is required for the bigger air filter but yea bigger air filter can't hurt performance am sure i am sure there is a saw boffin on hear that will tell u in our climate it's not necessary but it's aesthetically pleasing so I prefer it I got mine in Germany don't think u would be able to import it for 600 I actually paid 700 total cos got some chains and a nice Japanese bar as well Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. I have a 562xp and have had 560xp personally prefer 562xp purely because it comes set up how i want the saw the bigger air filter and 3/8 rather than messing about changing the 560xp i paid €600 for my 562xp Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app

    Boots

Phanner matterhorn for me on my second pair I get just about 12 months out of a pair which is better than all other boots I have had not to heavy hundred percent waterproof i spend nearly every day on spikes six days a week I don't get the numbing in the bottom of my feet after a been in a big take down all day like i have befor with other boots and they look good Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. great choice can't beat a bandit I have used nearly all makes of chipper spent three years in the states using bandits every day they were happy times you never thought this is gunner be a nightmare to chip cos they just eat it up and are bomb proof [emoji7] Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. With it through two holes with a 16mil line I found it ok even on some pretty small stuff and enough for some fairly big stuff when I used 12mil line it seemed to have allot less friction on the bigger pieces Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  20. Depends on how many holes you thread the rope through and the diameter of the rope you are using bigger rope more friction more holes more friction I don't think without using it it's possible to understand fully it's usefulness i spend 90 percent of my time taking trees down and working with different ground crews every day some times being able add some friction in the system is really helpful lads with less experience lowering seem to be able to get letting stuff run smoothly dialed in much easier than with a bollard it's not a replacement but another aid that really helps with production and a smooth safe job 🖒 Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. Yes mate and they are much nicer to work with while taking down a pole on spikes than a heavy block 🖒 Sent from my SM-G930F using Arbtalk mobile app
