  1. Thanks gents! That makes perfect sense. I was given the saw for free so I can't complain! I am willing to put a bit of money into small repairs so I'll see what a new intake boot will run me !
  2. Hoping someone can help me with a strange problem I'm having with a Husqvarna 335 xpt: pulling back on the chain brake makes the saw rev. So much so that the chain spins. Adjusting the idle screw has not helped. Any ideas? Something is flexing in the saw body when I put pressure on the brake, so how on earth does that make the saw rev??

    Tiny echo!

14" is way too big. That set up is what I have on the 355t. The 2511t should be 10" max IMO.

I'm in Canada too, not to hijack the thread but Echo Canada has confirmed the 2511t release? Every time I asked them they said "We have no plans to release in Canada". I went and ordered it from the U.K. Very happy with the purchase, love the saw in the canopy! Mine came stock with the carving bar and a 1/4 pitch sprocket. I have fit a Stihl Rollomatic Mini E bar on it with Stihl 71PM3 chain. There is a youtube video detailing this, seems to work well.
