  1. She wasn't even there! Was off with her pilot boyfriend in the Caribbean.
  2. I once underpriced a job because the woman (air hostess) answered the door in a bathrobe after having run down the stairs from the shower, she smelt gorgeous. Ended up spending two days pulling bramble covered conifer through her tight entrance for next to nothing. Not in the way you're thinking either Mark Bolam!
  3. No offence against all the contributors, I've put my two pence worth in myself. It just goes in circles after a bit.
  4. I wish the election was tomorrow, I've got a feeling this thread is going to be a bit like Groundhog Day from now on.
  5. Very nice, in a year or two it'll be all drone footage I reckon.
  6. All round protection is like some kind of medieval torture. I had to wear them at college, as soon as I could I switched to front only.
  7. I bought my hydraulic thumb from RSL. Pay the extra for a working thumb.
  8. Or "chainsaw chipping" as its sometimes known. Can work well, did a lot of it in the old days in the back of the truck.
  9. I think what you should bear in mind is that these are not large companies with receptionists and salespeople walking round a showroom of new machines waiting for a call. Of course they want sales but like you if you're in the middle of a job, they just think "I'll finish this and then I'll call" Keep trying for the machine you want.
  10. I suppose he could be a lottery winner who does it for laughs, in which case, yes, it's good money. No offence to the OP but that's not enough considering your travel/overheads etc.
  11. If you can pull a gravity fed chipper to it you can track or pull a wheeled chipper with a quad/compact tractor.
  12. Looks good! What sort of power unit in there?
  13. Yeah there's going to be a revolution, ha ha ha. When people are really starving tempers are going to fray a bit, as long as the underclass can afford a macdonalds and some skunk they'll stay in their flats watching X factor. They will pop out on hot summer nights to "protest" if a drug dealer gets shot and raid Aldi for some groceries.
  14. Amazes me people take the time to vote that they won't vote!
  15. Larger purchases can be a conundrum, wake up one morning it's a must have, later that day it'll be the biggest mistake you'll ever make:001_smile:
  16. You have a Mog? You've never mentioned it.
  17. My 2 cents, get the loader first, that will generate more money, you can continue to sub out the grinding (presumably making money on top) until you have enough to get a dedicated grinder. I've looked into grinder attachements on loaders, I don't think they really cut the mustard. Like I said, just my take.
  18. Oh no! Not a Land Rover! Joking aside, remember you're doing this to make money, not to drive round "looking the mutts"
