  1. Based on the Renault master and the Vauxhall movano. 2.3 diesel. I think they do a 150 bhp version.
  2. Congrats... Two of our guys are doing theirs next week.
  3. It took us well over a year to get a decision to put a small piece of hardstanding down for a couple of bins at our place. When the decision came it was ...NO Yet down the road they've put up a small development of luxury (and I use the term loosely) on a green field site. I know I'm being cynical here but I wonder how that happened?
  4. Unless they are paying day rates perhaps
  5. Doesn't matter what city/town/village I'd NEVER quote a job without checking it out properly first.
  6. That's a really versatile set up you've got there Stephen. Fair play mate. We still haven't got round to mounting the chipper on the front of ours yet. And the Shute is still too long... We just bought a bigger shovel to clean up with.
  7. I made the switch.... I'll never go back!!
  8. Thanks for this.. Yes it sounds like the same one (bright green) Is there a guide that stops the grinding wheel from taking too much off? Thanks Timon
  9. Hi Jon. Thanks mate, someone gave us one free, haven't set it up yet but we've got loads of old chains that need doing. I prefer hand sharpening now that I've really got the hang of it. Timon
  10. Someone donated us a german electric chain sharpener by a company called FloraBest... I think they were on sale in Aldi... Has anyone heard of/used one?
  11. Yup... My 560 runs rings round our 441. No contest.

    Tw150

Hi. can you tell me the torque settings for the blade bolts on the TW150DBH Thanks Timon
  14. Not everyone REALLY wants to change sadly. We've had our fair share of disappointments. But the ones who go on to succeed make it well worth it. I had lots of help along the way. I agree, it's good to be able to put something back.
  15. That's good to hear. We're getting some good results with our guys. 2 are doing their climbing tickets in a couple of weeks and another doing his groundsaw. Not so long ago they were addicted and without hope. Good on you Mike for giving someone a chance.
  16. Sounds like a good initiative to give some practical skills training to those who could really use it. How many people are released from prison with absolutely no hope of turning their lives around.? Certainly beats the 2 week "bricklaying" course offered to prisoners over here in the UK. Nice one
  17. The illuminati have got him (Monsanto to you and me)

    Sugihara bars

Really excellent bars and great service. 540xp 14" pro lite 560xp. 18" pro lite Wouldn't use anything else now, I've been converted
  19. You could always run a flail mower over it..., much quicker than strimming and it obliterates everything (more or less)
  20. I used to strim a lot of rough sites and used to use a Stihl FS450 with Oregon flexi-blade 2.65mm, it used to be great but the lads I know who use it now have said that it is different nowadays and snaps easily. It might be that they have changed the material they make it out of.
  21. Nice looking truck Ste, what lump has it got?
  22. Flat out here, did 10 quotes on Saturday and booked in 8 jobs. 2 teams booked up nearly through July.
