  4. Splices........... There's another big LOLER can of worms.
  5. My understanding of the regs/guidelines is no more than 2 strands cut side by side or 3 over the whole length of the rope (I can't make it out from the photo) If it's 4 strands cut then I would fail it.
  6. Circuits consist of different body weight excercises and weights Press ups, Burpees, sprints . V-sits, crunches . Various weight lifting reps. Etc.
  7. 30x. 20 seconds with 10 seconds rest . 10 different work stations- 3 laps Then 4 minute break Then another 30x. 20 seconds, then stretch off. Then go home and collapse.
  8. Since I started climbing and doing circuit training (tabata) it's all but disappeared I've found that keeping mobile is the key. I did try knee injections of hydrocortisone and anti inflammatories but they just masked it.
  9. It's not much when you consider the outlay for the machinery and it's maintenance etc..,
  10. Excellent post Steve, I can relate to that. Wish I'd taken up climbing earlier in life though... Got diagnosed with arthritis two years ago. Keep it at bay by going to circuit training class once a week.
  11. Are you at the show Saturday?? I'll PM my number if you are. I'll buy you a coffee

  14. Hi Steve, I no longer get any notifications for messages or people quoting my posts. I haven't for some time now. I've deleted the app and re-installed it on my iphone 4 Thanks Timon
  15. Looks like you're getting good use out of the Manitou, Johny.
  16. I have a T540xp and I love it. It likes to be kept warm though. Best on a 14" bar as it's a bit twitchy on a 12" in the cut. I don't throw it on the strop much, My oppo uses a ms201t with the Stihl upgrade and the 540 is the superior saw.

Hi Sandworks Never had landy experience with this but I used to experiment with different set ups on the old Nissan Silvia turbos.. Adding more pipework can result in more lag as it can take longer for the system to spool up. Why not fit a lorry intercooler? They can be had quite cheaply of the net or from the breakers. I fitted an Iveco one to the front of a Silvia (well, I had a garage do it.) and it resulted in a huge gain. Timon
  18. Here's some live footage of Victor in 1969 keys, vocals and pocket cornet (I was only 4 years old when this was recorded) https://m.youtube.com/results?q=mean%20old%20old%20world%20aynsley%20dunbar&sm=3

  22. Hi Rob, used my 540 with the new pro lite 14". It's so much better than the husky techlite12". Better balanced and not so twitchy in the cut. Also used my new 18" pro lite on the 560. Really impressed with the balance and feel of it. A big thumbs up.. Thanks Timon
  23. Nice! I'm not sure how to upload you tube videos but if you like that you would love a funk/gospel band from the 90's called Beehive.
