1. Nice work.
2. It will probably feature on the next Grand Theft Auto.
3. Thanks Steve. It had been hacked a few years ago so there was lots of reactive growth on it. As close to a silk purse as I could get 🙂
4. A beech thin from yesterday..
5. I accidentally ran over my iPhone with an otter box with the car. It crushed the case but the phone was unharmed. On the downside they can suffer from condensation when in your pocket climbing on a wet day.
6. I was going to take a stab at Marlow Aeris 11.0 mm Either way it wouldn't pass a Loler, not one of mine, anyway. 🙂
7. TIMON

Codwood?? Beluga drown tuna woods today you'll bream shore of a brig surf-prize.
8. Should save you time on sweeping up after jobs. Similar to what we have had done with ours.
9. Poor choice of wording....... 🙂
10. New addition to the family. Our mechanic built the chip box using the sides from our recently deceased tranny. We'll be able to put bigger crews out with this and push the jobs through quicker.
11. Good post Kevin. I wonder how people would feel in this country if we had multiple foot bridges across the English Channel that weren't guarded and an upcoming politician suggested we close them? It isn't any different in essence to what Trump is proposing. I don't like everything about Trump but I do like his willingness to address the thorny issues that the PC liberal brigade have tried to kick into the political long grass.
12. Great vid. Interesting variety of rigging solutions.
13.

Hi Steve

My phone app won't let me back on. It won't let me change my username and doesn't seem to recognise my new details.

Any ideas?

Thanks

14. Same here, I'm glad that I learned on a prussic and blakes etc. Because it helped me learn about ropes and knots. I wouldn't go back to using it on a daily basis though, because I love my Zigzag too much.
15. What about one of these? JCB Toughphone Pro-Talk TP851
16. Thanks for the reply. I did use a dab of lock-tight as recommended by the local dealer, the result was that the plastic integrated slot assembly snapped. As I understand it this has been a common problem on these helmets. I simply asked whether the issue had been resolved or not. This would be the deciding factor in whether I bought another one in the future. I have to say that I really liked the hat, so (from my point of view) it's a shame that this issue wasn't resolved.
17. It always tastes like Starbucks burn their coffee. This is my preference every morning. The coffee is Spanish blend of 50% roasted and 50% green beans. €1 per pack in Spain.
18. Do you know if they have sorted the issue of the ear defender/visor mounting brackets out? (affecting the kreiger ones). The mounting screws were always coming out. Everyone I know who has one has had the same problem, me included. I've just got the new CT one. Spent a fortune on lids in the last year so I'll be sticking with this now...
19. Mk 3. ZigZag is out now, haven't heard of any developing cracks so far......
20. Sorry, couldn't resist it 😎
21. For climbing I use cheap rubber ones with the fingers cut off. For general groundwork either bare hands or rubber type gloves. For rigging (running ropes on the ground)I use an old pair of Gill fingerless leather gloves, they give excellent feel and enable ropes to run, unlike the rubber ones.
22. What make of shower do use? Didn't know they sold ones that kept you trim 😀
23. Seriously though, tabata workouts are really good for speed, strength and endurance. It's basically interval circuit training. You can choose what kind of exercises to suit your needs. Scientifically proven to give you the quickest gains. (Apparently) Need to get back to it myself.
