  1. The tree fella has a yard in shoeburyness
  2. I see a 110 on eBay ages ago with a td nissan patrol lump in it that would of been nice also seen a few yank 6.2 / 6.5 V8 diesel lumps in landys but seems overkill to me and probley just as juicey as petrol V8 to run
  3. To drop a td5 lump in an early defender is a massive job with loads of parts to change over like fuel tank for one, if a defender is already a tdi 200 or 300 turning the pump up is the best option the tdi,s are good engines but if a td5 defender is what you want sell what you have & buy one it would be a lot less hassle & probley cheeper
  4. Stihl combo see tro can with non spill spouts
  5. Caravan motor movers are good value 2nd hand CARAVAN MOTOR MOVER BY CARVER | eBay Looks pretty straight forward to fit too
  6. I thought you,d like that
  7. Found something cheeper WANNER grease gun | eBay
  8. Thinking of putting caravan motor movers on ifor & poss on a chipper they lower a little roller on the wheels almost out of sight very handy & cheep 2nd hand

  10. Just save transit tipper tail lift as a serch on eBay one will come up, if an older mk 6 truck comes up ( Y reg to 06 ) you can alway put the mk7 front end on for £350 to bring up to date !! Tail lift is also very handy for delivering logs in them IBC water tanks as there pallets on the bottom only need a cheep pallet truck
  11. A few years ago I wouldn't of paid £70 for a petrol let alone a few of them, but now I wouldn't be with out them, same goes for g/gun you get what you pay for in life, just my thoughts
  12. Twin wheels defo , my transit is a tail lift tipper & I wouldn't be without it the tail lift it has many uses but the best one is lowering on the next of chipper / ifor to stop them from being unhooked and towed away wile our backs are turned Good luck with ya truck
  13. Once you used one of these you won't bother with a normal one again !!!! CPG18V SEALEY CORDLESS GREASE GUN 18V [Grease Guns Cordless Power Tools] NEW! | eBay
  14. Simple just tweek the pump, & that's it !!
  15. You just get a price from the guy with the telehandler that's him & fuel sorted then add on the wages for the guy & saw then add your wages plus a bit of top to make it all worth wile, I'd avoid giving any one an hourly rate just price for complete job
  16. Are you intending to use kids seats ? If so you'll be very tight on space in the back of any twin/double cab let alone an extra cab, why not keep the trusty hilux and get something else for family ? Having 5 kids myself I know how much agg seating can be
  17. 2 x Tailboard Forket, 2 x Pin & Chain, 2 x Lug, Truck Dropside Tipper Trailer | eBay
  18. I like cab overs Nissan cabstars are a lovely truck they have a good steering lock, go for the twin wheeler plenty of power !! The Toyota is prob just as good
  19. Just get a mobile shot blaster to come to you, they will blast it & paint in primer then just get it top coated by any car repair spay shop, I can't see coming to no more then. £150 to £200 to get it blasted.
  20. Petrol is total over kill, go for electric pump and just run an extension lead or leads down, no hassal just swich on, with petrol all the noise and agg of priming etc
  21. A good 12v can be had for £500 (superwinch goodwinch warn) iv been useing a cheep eBay £200 winch on my recovery truck with no problem at all and that gets used a lot, as for 8274,s I run 24v gp,s on my jeep wrangler TJ challange truck and on the 4x4 scene the most popular super fast with air But for a winch on the front of defender pulling a few logs about a slight over kill
  22. 12 v winch you can pick up cheep & have it fitted up and running in 10 mins and a lot lighter PTO winch are a lot dearer to buy & more involved to fit and a lot heaver So it all depends on how much you want to spend really & how much you think your going to be useing it !!
