  1. Wow! That's a really original argument! Just ignore all the statistics about crime and ethnicity and just call people "racist".
  2. Heh folks, I thought we weren't going to talk about racism or immigration anymore?
  3. Tbh, if everyone stops posting comments that could be taken the wrong way arbtalk would get boring very very quickly....
  4. Throughout time mankind has always reminisced about a previous golden era. Has this golden era really existed or is it our memory playing tricks? Socrates wrote this 2,400 years ago... "The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers." It's something you could write just now and have people agreeing with. I don't know if Arbtalk was better in the past. However I think we all know that in ten years time someone will be saying "Arbtalk was so much better ten years ago".
  5. Why not count the number of rails as you walk along? I believe a standard rail length is 20m.
  6. Tbh, my thoughts would be "what legal liability do you have to the homeowner?". If you've been asked to cut the tree down I can't see you having any liability if the house moves in ten years time. You also don't know what else will happen to the garden, that spot looks a good spot for a patio... A nice waterproof surface that is impervious to rain.... It looks a new house, I'd hope the foundations are relatively deep. Amazing tree has it not got a TPO?
  7. It looks like a plough to me. I think back in the 60's and 70's there was a lot of experimentation about breaking up the hardpan to allow better drainage to allow forestry in "new" areas.
  8. surely we can only really comment on this if we know how much the binmen earn? I'd say a fair wage for a binman is about £20k a year. It's a dirty job however it's unskilled and comes with a pension and holidays.
  9. I used to have a MGB GT as well. Four speed plus overdrive and a full length sunroof. It was fun driving it, however I never really trusted it not to break down and I never really used it, so I got rid of it. I have to admit I have a soft spot for the Jaguar XJS. IMHO it was the nicest Jaguar ever produced. My mum used to have a Jag and it cost something like a grand to replace the tyres - hence why I have a Fiesta
  10. As a completely non racist topic, did anyone else see this photograph from Storm Harvey? I find it unbelievable that this can happen in America.
  11. Are you talking about that date again?
  12. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1508079/White-society-is-now-a-hell-hole-said-BNP-boss-on-race-charges.html
  13. After making a series of allegations about Muslim gangs grooming and raping children in Keighley, Griffin said:
  14. In 2004 Nick Griffin made a speech in a pub called the "Reservoir Tavern". There was an undercover BBC reporter in the audience. The BBC reported on the speech and Nick Griffin was subsequently tried for "inciting racial hatred". The Daily Telegraph reported on the trial. An extract from the Telegraph is below. "Rodney Jameson, QC, prosecuting, said Griffin concentrated on allegations of paedophile drug rapes by Asian Muslims in the town during his speech. After making a series of allegations about Muslim gangs grooming and raping children in Keighley, Griffin said: "The bastards that are in that gang, they are in prison so the public think it's all over. Well it's not. Because there's more of them. "The police force and elected governors haven't done a damn thing about it. Their good book [the Koran] tells them that's acceptable." So I think it fair to say NG has been warning of grooming since at least 2004. Maybe the real story is how the BBC ignored the allegations and done their best to silence Griffin? I believe that is now checkmate.
  15. Twenty years since Princess Diana died. Anyone else not really care about the anniversary?
  16. I have to admit Mark sometimes I think you're actually an OK guy, then you post something like this. Perhaps you could define "fascist" for us? Just so anyone employing you will know if you're likely to punch them. Or even if you're likely to punch the client.... I managed to get some meanings of words that you left wing sort like to use....
  17. You were saying that the "right wing" hadn't been warning of grooming gangs etc. I provided a YouTube clip that showed Nick Griffin warned of grooming in 2004.... Yeah, there are paedophiles in every section of society. However there's only one group that has a holy book that says paedophilia is OK Even Trevor Philips (ex chairman of the Equality and Human Rights Commission) says this grooming is "racist". I'm trying to "justify racism"? There's a group in Europe that continually attack "whites" and people that follow different religions. There have been dozens of attacks and hundreds killed. This group has groomed thousands of white kids. Yet if anyone speaks out against what is happening people like you shout them down as "racist". When did it become wrong not to want people in Europe that consider us sub human? When did it become wrong to be concerned about grooming of white children by migrant groups? You really need to have a look at yourself.
  18. That sounds more like a date...
  19. Tbh, I think kevinjohnsonmbe comes across as the most sensible member of Arbtalk. I think most people here would put his opinion above yours....
  20. In 2004 Nick Griffin was warning about muslim grooming gangs. The police and social services have known grooming has been a problem but they did nothing as they didn't want to be called "racist". You ever heard of Enoch Powell poli
  21. Because people are scared. We're having terrorist attacks every month in Europe. Yet politicians lie to the electorate about the underlying causes of these terrorist attacks. We are told that "love overcomes hate" and lighting candles will stop the terrorists winning. People are starting to realise we're in a war..... Lighting candles and holding hands isn't going to win this war. People will vote for the parties that have warned about these terroist attacks for decades... Deep down you know I'm right.
  22. Yeah, I agree with you there. I was really looking forward to taking your "arguments" apart. lol, I hope you don't get too worked up when the West become increasingly right wing? If people like you aren't going to defend your viewpoints you can't really blame the electorate for voting for the right. After all, it's the "right wing" that actually listen to people's concerns...
  23. Yeah Mesterh, that's the level of debate I've come to expect from you. Tell you what, I'm at a bit of a bit of a loose end on Sunday evenings since Poldark has finished on the telly. Why don't we have an online debate then? Or are you too.....
  24. Tell you what Mesterh, why don't you actually try to debate the issues? Calling someone a "fanatic" is hardly going to win someone to your side of the argument. People are watching the news on the telly and seeing things that makes them worried. They see all these terrorist attacks that weren't happening a few years ago. They see all these incidents of grooming that mainly only happen in immigrant communities. People then see how politicans and the media ignore the issues...... Or do you really think Islam is a "religion of peace"? Are you really happy that Jeremy Corbyn sacked a shadow minister for saying there was a problem with Pakistani grooming gangs? I think your problem is that you know I'm right. You also know that if you try to debate the issues I will make you look stupid.... Why don't you prove me wrong? Or maybe calling someone a "fanatic" is the limit of your debating skills?
  25. As a matter of interest. Do you think we should let asylum seekers into the UK? Surely by giving someone asylum we are effectively saying "your country is a bit rubbish and the UK is a better country". I can't help thinking that the whole idea of asylum is fundamentally racist. It's not really up to us Brits to make judgements on how other cultures run their countries. So what do you really think? Do you think British values are better than places in Africa/ ME? Or do you really think all cultures are equal and we shouldn't accept asylum seekers? IMHO political correctness is a religion...
