  1. So you have to read my "repetitive rants"? Are you being held hostage by some madman that makes you read Internet forums? The NHS isn't going to exist in a couple of decades if we don't stop mass unskilled immigration. Are you cool with that? Maybe you and the madman have private health insurance and you don't care if the NHS is destroyed? I think many people will read my posts and silently agree with what I write. Do you think calling me a "troll" wins people over to your side of the argument? At best your "arguments" are best described as infantile. I suggest your parents should ask for a refund from whatever school you went to.
  2. I can use the evidence of my own eyes to see if the UK has become a better place due to migration.... I walk through my home town and I see migrants doing low skilled jobs like nail technician/ car wash/ barbers/ shop assistant/ taxi driver/ takeaway worker. Yet I'm meant to believe that they pay enough tax to "pay the pension of Brits"? Anyone that knows anything about tax will know they aren't net contributors and there is no way they "will pay the pensions of Brits". I work in UK construction and see migrants getting paid considerable under the minimum wage. Yet I'm meant to think seeing UK workers get undercut on wages is good for them? Who wants more workers in a country to undermine their wages? I go to the airport and I have to wait in a queue to pass through security. Why has airport security got so much stricter over the last decades? I remember as a kid the pilot used to allow kids into the cockpit during the flight. Why did that change? But yeah, the BBC tells me immigration is a wonderful thing. I'd suggest it isn't me that needs "to think for myself". It really should be the people calling me a troll.....
  3. My dad also owns a fair amount of forestry... I've planted 10,000 trees on his land... Public services like the NHS are falling apart. One of the reasons is that we are allowing millions of people in that pay very little in tax (in fact after they receive benefits they are a drain to the taxpayer). Immigration needs a nationwide adult debate..... I think people are starting to see past the "pro migrant" propoganda pushed out by the likes of Channel 4 and the BBC. People can also see that on Internet forums that pro migrant posters have few arguments apart from shouting "troll"... When did becoming concerned about the quality of life for Brits become such a bad thing? Anyway, do you have anything to say on media bias? Or are you only interested in making personal attacks on me?
  4. Most countries only allow migrants in if they provide a net benefit to the receiving country. It's really only Europe/ America/ Australia etc that allow migrants in that have nothing to offer... Middle Eastern universities aren't exactly the best in the world. They aren't exactly renowned for churning out competent civil engineers.... Honestly, one of the key skills working in the Middle East in knowing how to handle a client that doesn't know what they are talking about.... I still have nightmares about the countless meetings I had with a designer telling him why adverse camber on a road was a bad idea... There's only so many times you can tell someone "if the road is built to this design cars will leave the road as it slopes in the wrong direction".
  5. When I lived in the Middle East I performed a job that no local could do. In the Middle East there are no "free" schools or hospitals for expats, so I was using very few public services. I also rented a room in a private house... So overall I contributed more than I took out... That's a big difference between migrants arriving in Europe that are virtually unemployable and need taxpayer provided accommodation and benefits.. The crazy thing about this whole thread is that it's obvious that many people have been brainwashed by mainstream media such as the BBC and Channel 4.... That's nothing anyone should be proud about...
  6. Perhaps you could expand on that slightly?
  7. I had the same idea. I used gabion baskets from the crowd below. With a wrinkly tin roof it should last 50 plus years... The only drawback is that I find it hard to access logs at the bottom. It's probably an idea to keep one side lower so you can step into it. https://www.finemeshmetals.co.uk/
  8. I've spent a lot of time in the Middle East. I'd imagine I've got a better idea of the "real world" than you.
  9. I buy the Times and I read the Guardian website every day.... Why do you think only Daily Mail readers are concerned about bias by a state owned broadcaster?
  10. Lol! I'd suggest having a biased media should be of concern to everyone.... I bet Goebells is in hell laughing his socks off at the propoganda that Channel 4 and the BBC are pushing out. I'd be laughing as well however I have to pay tax so all those migrants can sit in their council flats and claim benefits
  11. When you watch the telly you see clips between programmes that advertise the channel. This is the latest one from Channel 4..... It's absolute pro migrant propaganda... How can anyone watch that then trust anything Channel 4 says regarding immigration?
  12. When I was a kid my dad made me a "death slide" between two TPO trees in his garden. You could probably argue that he was "wilfully damaging" the trees. However he was never charged.. I honestly think attaching a CCTV camera to a tree is like doing 31mph in a 30mph zone...
  13. tbh, I cant really see a ratchet strap doing any really damage to a tree... maybe reset it every year so that the tree doesn't become "strangled" and so that no moss builds up against the bark. I can't see the council/ crown prosecution service being interested in something as trivial as this.
  14. I'm gutted for you it was an amazing looking house and the woodwork looked first class. Why are the eucalyptus companies starting the fires?
  15. From a slightly different perspective I've noticed over the last twenty years some things have got so much cheaper. I can go to my local M&S and get a pair of chinos for £16 and a pack of three shirts for £15. Twenty years back I'm sure those things would have cost twice as much. When you watch the telly you see adverts for washing machines and telly's at a couple of hundred pounds. Twenty years back they cost so much more.
  16. That's an absolute class expression!
  17. wrong thread...
  18. Why don't you phone up the liquidator/ auctioneer and ask them? All I know is that some of the stoves look cheap. Lot 38 is a Morso Squirrel, RRP £1,200. Current bid is £250 and the reserve has been met. Lot 116 is a 10kw stove that has met the reserve at £15.... I just started this thread as I thought someone here might need a cheap stove... I wasn't expecting an interrogation...
  19. what does a liquidator do with stock that doesn't sell?
  20. Fair enough. However it does look like a lot of the stoves aren't going to make big prices....
  21. I came across this online. A liquidators auction of stoves.. I've nothing to do with it but there look to be some bargains.. Based in Peebles, Scotland. https://www.sweeney-kincaid.com/Sales/CatalogLots.aspx?SaleId=3190
  22. I'd charge £20 an hour. Or do it for free if the wife/ daughter was sunbathing topless.
  23. no matter how many immigrants stay in a house the fact remains that mass immigration is making the housing situation worse..... imho, migrants just shouldn't be getting council or social housing....
  24. Someone comes back from Syria after a year beheading people and they're not to get charged? I wonder if such leniency will be extended to speeding and not paying your TV licence? Absolutely bizarre. "Many Britons who have returned from Islamic State territory are not being prosecuted and instead need to be reintegrated because they were simply naive, the Government’s terrorism laws watchdog has said. Hundreds of Britons who went to Syria or Iraq in the past few years are already thought to have returned, but the authorities have decided not to charge them, Max Hill QC said. He spoke days after Andrew Parker, the director general of MI5, said the country faced an intense threat from Islamist terrorism, with plots now being hatched at a tempo he had never seen before." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/10/19/naive-disillusioned-britons-returning-syria-should-not-prosecuted/
  25. I worked with someone that never showed up for work one week and he was never seen again. 6 months later we got a call from Edinburgh Airport saying "could you remove your car and pay for the 6 months of parking". He'd just driven to the airport, got on a plane and left.. 2 years later I saw him on another site and he just left as well. PS. Before anyone says, no it wasn't because I was working with him.
