  1. Yes, however all auto tune carbs come with no software so will have to be programed by a dealer, you cannot do it yourself.
  2. New carb AT12 to much improve pick up.
  3. Check replace fuel filter in the tank, Partial seizure could also be possible, remove the muffler and check the condition of the piston throught the open exhaust port, if ok then an air leak, crank seal, or cylinder base gasket.
  4. The grey unit is only for the auto tune saw, the blue unit is the later governed unit, the black unit is the un goverened early unit, you can use either black or blue on a standard saw, but grey must be used on an auto tune saw.
  5. You pays your money and takes your chance, guess why the cylinder kit was cheap, because it sounds like the cylinder has some ovality, it should be smooth all the way up and down.
  6. As i sais it is a .325 chain so needs a 3/16 file or 4.8mm in metric.
  7. The 455 runs .325 chain so uses a 3/16 file
  8. Check the pipe behind the muffler, there is very little to go wrong with the manual pump, on the side of the tank is a cover, under which is some non return valves, check the Condition of these, if no joy I have a scrap machine somewhere.
  9. Spot on Steve.
  10. Husqvarna 61 was a great saw, it was around for a good few years, starting with the white top cover machine the Practica, it went on with many mods and gained a grey top cover, later examples had the 268 crankcase and gained an orange top cover, it was always classed as a semi pro saw, its nearest pro brother was the 162, max rpm was 12500 with carb settings around 3/4 on the H and 1 ish on the L, many of the early 61 parts are no longer available, the oil pump is fairly simple and also houses the drive side crank seal, the pump has 4 flow settings, you can remove the e clip, pull out the adjuster and the pump shaft will come out, this will allow you to clean the pick up and delivery ports, make sure the small black rubber seal on the delivery and pick up pipes is there and in good condition, the pick up pipe is just behind the pump and is easily removed and the filter cleaned, be very carfull refitting the pump as the crank seal can be damaged on the crankshaft step.
  11. Send me an e mail address and i will send you a shop manual for it.
  12. Still think its the ignition unit, sorry Steve.
  13. I think i would concur with your mate, ignition unit.
  14. Price sounds ok, just expect to pay £150 plus for a cylinder and piston!
  15. Looking for some used parts for my Danarm mower, rear height adjuster covers part no.s 36065-444 and 36065-445 mower model LM5360HXR, any body have a scrapper, thanks.
  16. Horses for courses, it was not that bad, max rpm shoud be 12500, carb settings were about 1 1/2 turns on H and L screws
  17. Part no 503545701 it fits under the front AV screw.
  18. Before you start richening the mixture you need to make sure you are noy just compensating for some under lying fault, block fuel filter? vracked fuei hose?cracked impulse hose? or an air leak.
  19. If they are the plastic caps you need to pull them back with the self tapping tool, do not pull them right off only enough to insert a 2mm screw driver through the centre to turn the screw, if you brave enough grind the small lugs off the sides of the caps to allow you to turn with the 2mm screw driver, a word of warning do not lean the H screw off to the point where the engine over speeds or it could well seize.
  20. The earlier caps are alluminium and have to be pulled out with yet another special tool, a bit like a self tapping screw, all the caps are put on in such a way that you can only lean the mixture, not richen it,due to emissions as we all know and hate.
  21. The later carb was it also has a spring loaded washer in front of it, you need to puch the tool home before you can turn the screw.
  22. Really depends on which limiter caps are on the carb, there are special tools required which ever limiters caps are fitted.

    husqvarna t435

This saw was from the Zenoah camp and badge engineered.
  24. You should have no play in either the small or big end ( up and down ), you should have end float on both big end and small end ( side ways movement ) tis is quite normal.
