  1. Just showed this to the misses. Made her see how lucky she is. I must be like so "in" at the minute, beard, padded jacket and just to be really vogue, a knackered out caddy van. All the kids round here grind the paint off old caddy vans and lower the suspension, my rust and worn out saggy leaf springs are genuine.
  2. Cheap tax, really good mpg, small, light, manouverable. Whats the max gross of this rig?
  3. Like it says scrolling at top of screen? Dah! Should have gone to specsavers. Well done everyone. Im sure we have made a difference to someone somewhere.
  4. Well done xaltu And a very big well done and thank you to steve
  5. Cut it off and sell it to local youth and "health food" distributors. Make a few quid.
  6. Heard of a man yesterday who claims to deliver 2 tonne in the back of an L200 tipper. 2 cube maybe. Think the gross is only 2830 or something
  7. Transit yes, proper wagon. Custom no, front wheel drive, blah. Hence why i ordered one of the last old shape ones. Rwd, 3325 gross. Proper job.
  8. Pm me for a piping diagram i came up with for reversible motor on a spinner. Regulator valve, ls line and 4 way change over.
  9. Would the correct spool valve not sort all of that out? Basically, no. It would work but boil itself to 130 degrees in a short space of time. Sauer danfoss do a very nice proportioning valve that will run off 12v and manual, both ways, sprung return. You need to find out what sort of hydraulic system this tractor is actually running, and go from there.
  10. Anything thats large diameter, yellow as posible, about two inches thick and cheap. A man i know, owns a cnc mill, and he owes me a favour, and our gates are getting about nakerd between the drive and the patio. So woman has told me to get my family crest machined into a piece of yellow wood. Family crest is black and yellow, so machine to a short depth all the black, apply blow lamp and sand off. One yellow and black family crest.
  11. Whats the biggest diameter piece of really yellow wood available? The yellower the better. I have a special job ive been told i have to do, so in market for a bit.
  12. I would stand back, look, think and ask. Mixing oc and cc hydraulics can get very expensive, plug the wrong pipe in, or open the wrong valve and the wrong time and ££££££. having said that i use both pumps on a thru drive from transmission quite successfully. 80cc ls pump and 33cc gear pump at up to 2350rpm 190bar with 150 ltr tank.
  13. Toyota chassis Toyota engine Toyota running gear Toyota body Toyota electrics Land rover jacket (optional)
  14. What about a road towable machine, self contained, with log lift, deck, feed conveyor, saw and four way splitter?
  15. Is it me or is the tip ram a mighty piece of engineering
  16. Like your thinking but aspen 2 still has oil in so i would think it would cause carbon deposits.
  17. I got done for doing 42 in a 50, fair play biggest waste of time ever. Instructor didnt have a clue about anything other than a nissan micra. I believe the limits for vans are applicable to vehicles over 3000kg gvw, ie a 2800kg renault trafic can do 70 on a dualie whereas my 3325kg gvw transit is 60. I think. Wasnt lostening to the crusty old fart on the course as he was just a janner. We have a proper truck killer hill round here and apparantly when descending fully loaded you stay in top gear and ride the brakes all the way down. So when granny in her mobility scooter crosses the road at the bottom, your brakes are on fire so you run her over. Im all up for educating people but at least have teachers that know something.
  18. Steve? Back to the original question. Shall i send my little un round to help, she makes the best cakey.
  19. A picture food forum would be good, however i dont want 400 people for tea tomorrow night
