  10. If there is one piece of kit that's been priceless for me then the Farm jack is up there ...whether Fencing or Stumps it is the Dog danglers! £45 eight years I paid and still going strong . Little Beach and a Cherry to pull out today and using a winch off The Beech the Cherry pulled out in 2 ticks ,has for Beech a quick dig around base and located a main root and cut it so I could put a chain around . 15 minutes and Hey presto ..No mess like a stump grinder .   15. Just bought the Jenson of the above Firm and highly recommend them , that Chipper is a cracker but weighs 800kg Ste
  16. Buying a plough can turn out very expensive if the boards , skimmers etc are on there last , has above sub out and make a bit for yourself , a good contractor with 5/6 will rattle that off in a day . Ste

Take moisture readers with a pinch of salt no matter how much you pay. ... there have been a few threads about how dry my logs are showing 20% , true readings of moisture should be taken splitting log .so taking readings on the outside is a load of bollocks pardon my French. ..here's a pic of my moisture reader after wood felled a week old. Aldi special.
  21. Tremendous day for picking leaves. ..managed 6 bulk bags by 10.30 ,changed jacket 3 times and then called it a day at 12.30. Sat in my local Cafe for 3 hours chilling out . Ste
