  1. Thumbs up for the Kobelco, I am a big fan of them and a much under rated and forgotten Manufacturer . Ste
  2. The old 2.7 Terrano engine is what they used in the Black cabs and goes on forever has well has having a Timing chain . Suspension is the issue on the front but otherwise a better motor than the Freelanders Ste
  3. Kobelco micro diggers have lead the way for years and years , my old sk007 has been at since 1996 and still going strong today . Ste

  5. My first attempt at Milling, Beech was felled last year and been sat in my yard since. Bought a cheap £99 mill of e bay and am happy for now . Need to fine tune my method to get a cleaner cut. Ste

  8. Played about with these in my local Stihl dealer .....selling like hot cakes to the the Japanese etc for trimming them Bonsi shrubs ........ cracking bit of kit . Ste
  9. I use the older 115ap and 180ap , the 115 is fine for the Top handle saw to keep it like a feather but otherwise crap for hedge-cutters. The 180/200 does me proud but I believe the new 300 is the one . I have the strimmer,long and normal hedge-cutters plus the top handle saw and they have made my life on the Garden maintenance and lot easier on the repetitive starting etc . Ste

Had the Hla 85 for over 2 year's now and fairly impressed but for a years growth on Hawthorn has a one off yes , the blades are the same has the top of the range handheld cutters (double sided) Privet hedges and Conifers it loves . I have had a warranty issue over the clamp on the telescopic bit which to be fair is utterly crap . The motor is located at the end so it's a direct drive for those that are not mechanical minded.   13. I always you a old Stihl HS81 with the wide blades ... eats pampas grass down to ground level in no time. Ste
  14. All my lawns are fortnightly and the Turfmaster is fine BUT if you get a spell of wet weather in the summer the grass will be to tall for Mulching and they will clog up . I pick and choose the jobs for it that are old established lawns that are slow growing . Ste
  15. Great mowers for regularly maintained lawns , I run the Turf master now for 3 years and slightly tweaked. They hate damp and tall grass . You can cover some ground in no time with them and leave a fine finish Ste

  17. Excellent machine that will cut tall wet grass and also cut a well maintained lawn and leave a good finish. Only issue i find after a long stint using one is my Hips are sore ! I used Hy Tran oil in mine. Ste
  18. The scrappage scheme is to means tested allegedly....the nearer you are to London the more you will be offered etc and the same to the next most polluted City . Ste
