  4. I totally disagree too with you .....i started serious climbing 8 years ago and I am now 46 and I will run rings round some of these young bin kids who fade out by 3oclock who think its still home time at school. Like I said earlier a lot depends on if you have had a physical job prior to start climbing which I did living in a pig farm and have been using chainsaw since a very early age . Ste

  17. I have never touched any of them has I know they are very prone to diseases and are a ornamental tree and very brittle . I have googled this subject and seems to be very widespread and the jury is apparently still out with regards to the problem. Ste
  18. What a shame that these trees are dropping like dead flies ,i have half a dozen on my garden rounds that have died and some of them where well established trees . Is there anymore news has to the reasons for this or is it just the change in the seasons or a after effect of the cold winter a couple of years which clobbered the palm trees . Ste
  19. Yep I know that which is the norm ,what I was trying to get at is say he was wearing a tree harness or a scaffolders harness ,which one would the ambulance crew struggle with cutting off without the help of fire rescue. They surely not pull it down with spinal injury,so he may of been wearing a scaffold harness which bring its own problems . The plot would thicken then. Just surmising. Ste
  20. Someone on here must know the full story or him in person ,its a small world . They did well removing the harness with a spinal injury . Happy ending either way for family . Ste
