  4. Yes I have a 995 Jon, its a bit rough but mechanically sound, I have a splitter on the back and a loader in the front. She starts fine when using the excess fuel tap on the pump and I have had a heater plug fitted, new alternator, new brake seals and shoes and the hydraulics sorted out. Hodge
  5. Its so you can flush the sludge out of the block. Hodge
  6. Draining the water out Hodge
  7. How is he doing now? Sorry to hi jack the thread. We lost my wife's cousin 2 years ago to depression, he was a cheerful, happy go lucky guy, or so we thought. Out of nowhere he went and hung himself. He called his best mate just before it and he went and found him but it was too late. Now the family and his friends are left to pick up the pieces. Hodge
  8. A simpler business model is to answer the phone, take the order and deliver it, rather than try to find a unused garage forecourt, take all stock there and sit and wait for someone to drive past with a big enough vehicle to carry enough logs home for the season. Really?? Hodge
  9. I can't recall any closed petrol stations around my way so that's a non starter and I doubt they can get a dumpy bag in a Yaris. Hodge
  10. Very valid point! Hodge
  11. I had one, used it a few times but found the ear defenders were poor at protecting ears from chipper or saws, but the main thing was that it just didn't fit my head in a comfy way. Hodge
  12. I had one and I never had an issue with the build quality which I found spot on. My problem was that I never used it. I can recall it being used on 2 or jobs and that's it. The groundy that works for me preferred to drag the brash and put straight int chipper rather than load trolly, move trolly and them unload trolly. Each to their own though. Hodge
  13. And what if you can't find clients like that? People don't necessarily want a cheap job they just want a fair price and if as in my case only 2 out of 6 or 7 competitors are vat reg it makes things hard. I looked into as I kept hitting the limit and when I worked out what I could claim back each month it was in reality very little, unless your hired in labour is vat reg. Monthly fuel bill didn't generate much and unless you but new machines then you don't get much back. Hodge
  14. I have a 17 year old who is doing a Forrest and Arb course at Newton Rigg, he tells me one of the tutors doesn't even know the correct names of cuts etc. it took the 7 months to do 2 weeks felling and they won't give them assessment until they all have more experience but they won't get experience as only 2 out of 15 students have a placement. From what I have heard from various sources Newton Rigg is not what it once was. Hodge
  15. just seen this in the new addition of essential Arb. Hodge
  16. You should have found out the answers to your questions before you bought the machine mate. Hodge
  17. I've just spat ma curry all over my Mrs, that's well funny! Hodge
  18. Speak to Andy Collins on here as he had colitis I think and seems to have come through the other side. Also a close mate has had the same for the last 24 years. The Camera is unpleasant but no big deal mate. Good luck Hodge
  19. Get in touch with Mdvaden on here he may be able to help you. Hodge
  20. Even better!! Hodge
  21. Just make one mate. Use a post spike and a drill and a few Thunderbolts. :) Hodge
  22. Or Sweet chestnut:) Hodge
  23. Was that a big ol Elm Simon? Good pics of a big tree. Hodge
  24. When I did mine I just downloaded a program from the net call black rain or something, it was not as easy as the way you have shown Stevie. Hodge
  25. Yes I did it a few years ago when the iPhone came out in O2, I did the jailbreak and had it on Vodafone. Hodge
