  3. North wales owner wouldn't be intrested in as has now sold the whole farm, so expect it will change, but thought there must be other similar places around. Try the farming forum?
  4. No farmers who you could pay in free firewood to use there yard etc? Know of one who have gone over to 100% silage done by contractors has multiple big empty sheds all un-used.
  5. Germans with no HGV experience asked to drive lorries amid UK fuel crisis | Supply chain crisis | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM Mass appeal automatically sent to holders of pre-1999 German licences, which entitle holder to drive trucks When need them to drive the lorries 😏

  7. Hazel stakes like theese, though whats used probably differs in other parts of country (2inch diamter max) Used a small-ish old sledge hammer (and crowbar) when using stakes like ones above for pea supports in garden with sheep netting Reckon the ideal all wooden mallet would be a handle 80cm long with head about 2kg in weight. How about big goverment project of mobile modular kit "council" homes. Modern eco insulated ones mass produced and modular design so can be linked together. Goverment save big long term as not paying out so much housing benefit to private landlords. Houses can be moved to where needed. So basically trailer parks 😏

  16. Strategic national infrastructure such as tranpsort and energy requires some goverment planning & investment, or market inducements. Why no decent facilities for truckers built into the road system if that is a problem? Is more rail freight not a viable alternative? Truckstop has being closed down by gov as they said site was needed for a custom check... HMRC back in for Holyhead truck stop with workers told jobs going for a second time - Business Live WWW.BUSINESS-LIVE.CO.UK UK Government had struggled to find an alternative site while Brexit has badly impacted trade at Roadking Similar issue with lack of decent charging network for electric cars, as left to the market.... Or new builds not being made 3 phase like in other EU countries for charging cars, or regs for decently insulated new houses to future proof for energy price increases being very lax. Instead just carry on with fitting new gas boilers....& rely of market forces to fix all problems
