  1. Completely impossible is abit strong, I would go more with extremely unlikely in the short term. & then the further you go into the future the harder to predict what could happen..... I do think that increasing inequality in the UK means more likely an increase in the chances of civil unrest..... Bread a circuses etc. Goverments a circus all on its own atm, but still needs to provide some bread...... Some history snippets in this article: This is how economic discontent has triggered unrest in the past WWW.WEFORUM.ORG According to the latest Chief Economists Outlook, the difficulty people are having when it comes to buying bare essentials is...
  2. Interesting thanks dunno about brexit party being left wing though? National socialists?

  4. Red squrriels like them. Was working near a big beech last week, and it had several squirrels in it throwing the nut shells down onto a flat roof garage roof making a noise. This yr there seems to be plenty of nuts,

  7. Trouble is only way to fix and save money longterm and "balance the books" would be longterm goverment investment some kind of " green new deal" but theres no money for it, or any vision for one. Having a dysfunctional NHS, energy sector, transport and service infrastructure, & housing sector, is all costing the goverment and the general public alot of money and channelling it into the private net wealth of a few people. Jermeny Hunt is a buy to let landlord for example, a sector made alot more profitable by the housing crisis.
  8. Trussonomics whole plan completely abandoned then whats the point of her stilll being PM?
  9. I dunno some of thoose tiktok insta types seem as dull as watching paint dry and still have 1 million views etc.
  10. Needs alot more off I wouldn't CHOISYA for teh job. Also why is it a "charity" gig?
  11. Heard good things about the makita 4 stroke strimmer also. Power to weight ratio isn't as good as 2 strokes but alot less emissions and better fuel economy
  12. Thanx I had/have a few dozen old corona pop bottles I do elderflower champange in but are to tall for the pans top half would be well out of the water Think i'd need a taller pan/or shorter bottles? Alot of them unfortunately exploded a few yrs back as to much fizz in the elderflower 😏

  15. Giant Lion Carved From Single Tree By 20 People In 3 Years Becomes The World's Largest Redwood Sculpture | Bored Panda WWW.BOREDPANDA.COM A giant wooden sculpture of a roaring lion now stands proudly in a Central Chinese city square, and the journey it took to get...
  16. Saying some of the more "out there" stuff that will probably never happen will distract from other things than they hope to achieve more under the radar., E.g ditching enviro regs, planning limits, the eco farming subs reform, the net zero carbon aims. Destroy the BBC and NHS etc Seems everything is up for grabs (not that there are much pulblic assests left to loot) Also market volitility & f**king things up general into some kind of dysfunctional dystopia whilst its a disaster for the majority, will creates new market oppurtunities to profit from for some. The idea that the truss economic plan will boost GDP growth and benefit all is such naive magical thinking that im not sure that most of the more intelligent right wing type tories even believe in it, but are just playing along.
  17. I used to remove all the nails before any cutting. Also have a pallet buster bar. Best pallets were the two way USA ones with "stringers" rather than blocks and they also had very wide & thick planks - they all seemed to be made of oak. Loads better than the more common random light weight ones . Haven't done any for yrs as my source the good ones dried up and the crappy ones didn't seem worth the hassle.
