  1. That's how I got my Jonsereds's 😄 this ones less than an hour from me I'm sorely tempted but I think the only other saw I need is an 881. If it's any help I recently bought a carb kit on ebay for my Jonsered 49 from china, arrived quite quickly and it came with absolutely everything and a lot of extras for Tillotson variations.
  2. Here you go, just spotted this by coincidence, he's also selling what looks like a whole vintage collection plus a lot of spares👍 Jonsereds 920 Vintage Professional Chainsaw. Twin Bar & Chains. 3. I've never been interested in politics and I'm thankful that I managed to get through my whole self employed and really quite difficult working life without being dependant on the government for anything, the only thing you can depend on politicians to do is to screw up you and everything else and then move on vacating the position for the next unworthy that comes along, imo. Not long after setting myself up with a workshop in '82 we got hit with Thatcher and with quite a large bank debt I like many others ended up with an interest rate of 18 % and for years every penny put in the bank vanished and survival became the name of the game... particularly in places like Glasgow and other industrial cities where tens of thousands had their livelihoods shut down and were cast onto the dole. Can you imagine the chaos that would ensue in today's debt ridden society if they were to be hit with that kind of interest rate. So while previously just being hard working, keeping my head down and trying not to fall foul of the system has been enough to keep food on the table and allow me to mind my own business, this era seems to be coming to an end and now that tech has reached a significantly advanced state that them that like to tell us what to do feel empowered enough to want to mind my business for me. I know these days it's become unpopular to believe the evidence of your own eyes and also comment on what you see, but having spent my whole life largely ignoring politicians I'm now sitting up and taking notice as I see what these people are trying to do all round the world and as far as I'm concerned they do not deserve the technology that's now at their fingertips, politics attracts devious people who should not have limitless power over others lives, it's like giving AK47's to monkeys. To me I see the kind of stuff being argued about on here and everywhere else as being exactly what they want and just a distraction while behind the scenes they beaver away at the next way to feck us all. And that may well be to control us all digitally, you've only got to look at what's happening elsewhere with governments around the world being infiltrated by the WEF and following their stated agenda.
  4. Not the 2nd one...🙄
  5. Thought I'd post some news in the argument thread. Some will like this and some won't.. Oh dear.😁
  6. You can see the quality of the workmanship there and I can image the pleasure of rebuilding with it, after all the difficult bit has already been done.. collecting it. You should get something to sit on, light a fire on a nice night and sit in there with friends and a few beers and enjoy the stonework before you knock it down, the flames flickering on the wall will give you inspiration. In case you're not aware there are many products for bridging containers to make a dry working / storage area, cheers. container+roofing+systems+scaffolding - Recherche Google WWW.GOOGLE.COM
  7. You should check these out £90 would seem to be quite cheap, in many areas prices of all species would seem to be going through the roof.. same as coal really, up here anyway. 8. Quite liked this, quite relevant I thought, Curt and his daughter
  9. That's what I thought too but it looks like it was cut with the Bushman lying next to it, the blade looks clean, a bit of a mystery Wonder what species it is, I'll have a guess at Willow from the bark but I'm probably wrong.
  10. Yep, and it's well known that the Vikings stole most of the good looking women 1300 years ago.. at least up here😁
  11. Yep, that is weird, was it the same in any of the other cuts ?
  12. Hi, it was only milled boards for some joinery not logs, sorry to say.
  13. Aye, that's my point.. I think we're on the same page. It would seem that Macron, Trudeau, Ardern, Morrison and any other ' leader ' with an extreme response may have similar roots. Feck me , how did I forget about Scotland's would be tyrant ' mammy ' 👎
  14. Fair enough, I just thought it was interesting that Schwab mentioned him in the same smug minute as the others, who to me at least are starting to show themselves in their true colours.
  15. I think he was at the last ' get together '
  16. So Trudeau and Macron for sure, and starting now to show the efforts of their grooming, but to what extent was Putin similarly treated years earlier.. I've no idea on that.
  17. To be honest I've no idea if Putin has WEF roots, but I thought it of interest the fact that Schwab came out with it on camera I thought it worth posting, I see him as a conceited and boastful man who likes everyone to know exactly what he's trying to do, he's often dressed up like a Bond or Star Trek villain. A quick google finds that Putin's certainly been involved with them recently, and warning about war. Cheers.
  18. It would seem that while the world is engrossed with Ukraine [ perhaps as it should be ] in Canada Trudolf is trying to push through a bill that will embrace communism. I saw and posted a recent video in which Klaus Schwab admitted that many world leaders including Trudeau, Macron and indeed Putin all had affiliations to the WEF and their master plan for us all. Covid goes out like a lightbulb and seamlessly Putin starts a war and with these two short videos a link is provided to a common root between the leaders responsible for two very big global stories neither of which is anywhere near over.. imo. At 1.26 Putin is linked to the WEF
  19. Will it take another war with the Welsh to get rid of the ' go compare ' annoying git ?🤣
  20. This machine ?
  21. I thought as much, Limestone's easy to work with and stonework very satisfying and rewarding and if I were you I'd think twice about burying anything but the total dross. Our predecessors laboured long and hard to shelter themselves from the weather with a few primitive tools and knew a bit about craftmanship, if the whole original house is Limestone then any stone even if rough can be reworked relatively easily and rebuilt into something else, I wonder how much you'd pay today to buy a house load of quarried local building stone. The fact that it will fall down easily gives you potentially the main part of another building or a resource to build whatever the stone says to you.. but beware, . working with stone is more addictive than milling😁 and Limestone is one of the easiest to use[ imo ] Probably a pressure washer will clean the old lime mortar off the stone and as you demolish it separate / sort the stone into separate piles depending on potential reuse, big flatties/right angles/graded by size/1 off shapes etc.so it's not all in a jumbled pile, double handling and the back pain. As for your road, I don't think it would be to expensive just to get other loads of ballast delivered. All the best with your plans👍
  22. Thought this insider view from Moscow kind of shows a different view of the situation that we don't hear.
  23. I'm no expert but maybe it could be called a pressure compensated flow control valve or just a flow control valve. Can you not get an online parts list for the machine or contact a dealer. Cheers
  24. You might be lucky and find some nice stone which you may be able to reuse as features in the house you build.. Lintels, quoins, cills etc. I don't know what your local stone is like, but over here the older houses had first pick of what was lying around when they were built all that time ago, and often a lot of it is very reusable. Obviously I've no idea of your plans but you may get enough good stuff for a feature fireplace, porch or something, letting the old house live one. I too will watch with interest, cheers.
