  1. Had to search for this as it's one of the many things I sent to myself for future reference. I know the picture with Schwab is old hat from 2017 but it shows that Hancock was no doubt a product of WEF indoctrination so presumably many others are as well.. just waiting for their orders..
  2. Hi, I'm not sure how a missing E clip would make the chain lose tension and get so slack as to fall off the bar... but I'm probably missing something🙄
  3. Funny, but the poor mutt's only following " the science " 🤣
  4. Thanks, that's one of the mills I have as a contender👍
  5. Aye, my mates Norwood was old when he got it and that was about 25 years ago and it's cut a lot of wood since then. Out of interest which Wood Mizer do you have, I've been looking at mills for ages trying to weigh up the pro's and con's of all the different makes? Cheers.
  6. Looks like they could be Scots pine ??... but when it comes to ID's I'm usually wrong.
  7. Good question, since it's corrupt inception in the late 1800's they've managed to take control of nearly everything.. the cause and the ' cure '. It's a huge subject which anyone can research in respect of any problems they may have.. but from my own point of view I find it best to stay fit and not to require treatment, although obviously repair of injuries / broken bones etc is a different side of medicine and from my experience done very professionally in this country. Whenever I notice I have something going wrong I try to address it straight away by looking for an alternative non pharma solution which is usually there to be found. A good start imo is to drink and cook with spring water, eat as much unprocessed food as possible, stop the twice daily dose of Fluoride in your toothpaste and avoid artificial sweeteners like the plague. Cheers.
  8. Very often they get used as fencing particularly if Larch or Doug, so very little waste, but if you can burn it all then zero waste👍
  9. It's funny that just a few miles away in the west we know them as slabs.
  10. I had in the past thought of using engineering lathe type coolant or white water as an alternative on my mates Norwood for the same reason, but never got round to it and he didn't take the idea onboard as him being the ' rough and ready ' type and not that bothered about a poor finish of cut, cheers.
  11. Just curious, does this not leave the timber smelling a bit ?
  12. As far as I'm concerned the whole of Pharma is and has been corrupt since their inception, it's bad enough that they poison folk with their concoctions but worse that all the treatments from nature that actually work and are safe but can't be patented so get banned, ridiculed or just concealed and are forgotten. And as you say the last 2 and a bit years has shown them up for what they are.... once again imo.
  13. That looks like a crackin mill you've got there 👍
  14. I'd kind of forgotten about her but don't the words ring true...I guess she wrote this as a reaction to Vietnam but nothing really changes.
  15. From the pics I'd say use it outside when it's dry and take it in when finished or give it a couple of extra coats of exterior polyurethane Yacht type varnish and take a chance, try a wee test area first to make sure there's no reaction between possible different finishes, good luck.
  16. Yep, in any trade 👍
  17. This popped up today and kind of put it in a nutshell, at least imo.
  18. Wouldn't be too hard to to use the dawgs you have as a template and just make a toothless pair from some thin plate, I potentially have the same problem as I've got them off just now to get that extra couple of inches... I've not had a chain break on me while milling but it's bound to happen.
  19. Thought this was interesting given the years between the recordings and the massive difference in tech.. Sound only of Jimi in '67 and Randy Hansen doing the same song 40+ years later, he's got it bang on but the you can hear just how much the recording Tech has moved on.
  20. Bonkers.
  21. Don't know anything about chippers but could it be that there's a tool for pulling the plate that attaches on to the 2 studs and has a jacking bolt in the centre. In any case from the photo I'd clean the end of the shaft with emery and lube before trying and unless it moves easily apply some heat. Or just a 2 leg puller if that would go on.
  22. So roughly what size are your4 year old Rainbow as a matter of interest.. I see Herons all the time and watched one last week struggling with a fish that looked to be around 5 or 6oz, cheers.
