  15. is that stuarts park your working at paul looks like it. take the kids there quite regular and have often wondered if it was perhaps mbro council did something about the trees over the play area. if you are still on site take a walk up toward the ponds at the top the trees between the pond and the museum are where i first experienced tree climbing aged about 3
  16. where are you bassed i have a few peices of wood that i would like turned
  17. 13th is my birthday so I will confirm closer to the time incase mrs/kids plan anything
  18. I'm easy on venue to be fair Jon everywhere seems to ne about 7 hours from me anyway
  19. I've used magnesium salts (Epsom salts) as a folier spray for mag deficit before I cant remember the dilution rate but it provided an almost overnight pick me up as others have said a ph test and even a macro nutrient test would show the problem and if soil ph is too high remove some soil and replace with acidic compost or even soil from elsewhere in the garden and feed with eriocatious fertilizer during the growing season
  20. Happened on my cs38 walking out on a limb about 20foot from the stem slipped when another guy in the tree jumped off his branch my secondary anchor snapped out and I took a massive swing ended up about 4ft from the ground. Lesson learned was if I wouldn't hang off it then its no good as a secondary. Ended up upside down a few times last week on a wet walnut tree the customer thought it was hilarious
  21. Its not just ex pats think like that I was asked to quote on half an acre of bramble and self set sycamore up to shout 4 inch dia have then a competitive price as I could do with the work and they gulped and said they expected it to be about fifty quid for the lot including waste disposal. They weren't shy of a few bob either. Needless to say I didn't get the job and they still have half an acre of scrub to clear
