  1. Jet fit head whatever you get. We run 3 and they've never given trouble. Although the bottom cap has never fallen off which I was told would happen straight away.
  2. We now have 3 Echo SRM 520's Never had an issue with them oldest one is 2 years (so admittidly not that old) but they get hammered regularly on pathways and 2 monthly cutting cycles. Only issue we've had one of the newer ones the dead mans switch didnt do anything (but it still worked fine) which was probably a case of one of my guys dropping them. They're happy running 4x7mm techniblade line too so plenty of power for whatever you need. We used to have the 420s with the high torque box but they're not as good imo
  3. I know you said 10.8V but Milwaukee M12 are very well rated for their size/weight
  4. Fake OBD port is about 20 quid IIRC
  5. I think they changed the cones as ours have never flown off! I remember when I first bought a few I thought that I should just take the cone straight off as I'd read on here they dont stay on.
  6. Interesting. I did read on the transit forum that the 2.0 litre Euro 6 ford engine in the new transit is identical whether its the 105hp or the 170hp engine whereas the older engines had different injectors and turbos. £300 sounds a good price too.
  7. But doesnt the custom use the same engines from the transit (and pretty similar in the defenders) so surely they'd be good for remaps too?
  8. Various companies sell the old version of the Etesia, such as Iseki and Orec. But they're all largely the same. I believe the Sherpas to be the best but I've only ever used an Etesia 98
  9. The pee stains will fade too.
  10. I had a symmetry on an S6 and now have one on my s8.
  11. Me and my lads like our Echo 420's and 520's. I prefer the 520 for general all round brushcutting.
  12. Having driven a rather overweight 15 plate sprinter tipper (single wheel) on the weekend. It handles it fine. Better than my mk6 twin wheel tipper does.
  13. I'd just get some briggs fuel fit for it if it's going to be left for a few months.
  14. I bought 10 bitcoins back in 2011 when it was like $2.50 each and sold them about a year later for 10... My brother did something similar (he being the one encouraging me to get some) but I think he had about 150. Not that bitcoin isnt a huge bubble They're worth about 11k dollars now though...
  15. I think stihl long reach and "r" have 39mm blade spacing? Whereas echo have 35mm (stihl "t" have 30 if I remember correctly)
  16. I havent used any of the HD ones. I assume they're a redesign to sort of how much worse the LW's were tha nthe older ones.
  17. For gritting or just general seeing in the dark we use LED lenser 7r's. Nice and bright for what we need and £50 a go on amazon. Gets dropped seemingly every 30 seconds by one member of staff and its still fine after a year, can use 3 AAA's or the rechargable battery that can charge from the truck with a usb adaptor.
  18. We do some park maintenance (no tree work) and it comes under CIS. Never had an issue and accountant is okay with it.
  19. Whats the difference between the pfanner gloves and those cheap builder gloves for 50 odd pence each other than slighty better grip on the pfanners?
  20. Going to end in a no deal or cancelled at the last minute at this rate. 0 trust in the current British representatives to actually get us a deal. I was 50/50 on leaving but they triggered a50 before even being sure what to do, we could've waited a while worked some things out (even if just internally) then started negotiations from a better standpoint.
  21. Yes, it's a Kaaz though, same as Danarm Lawnflite sarp etc. etc. well a few minor changes. I'd suggest a Stiga Twinclip, fantastic mulch great collection heavy duty where needed excellent AV.
  22. Well they overlook Blagdon lake (next to Chew Valley Lake) But there was a great big Laurel hedge blocking the view, that is still there two years on.
  23. We did that a few years back. They loved it... I thought they looked off, especially the one they wanted facing the other way.
  24. Are you going to send me the 4 you sell to try out? Do you mean which style you prefer? Ive only used the ones with an adjustable 3rd leg ours are a Hasegawa set which are much better than step ladders but I will probably go for 3 adjustable legs next time we need a new pair.
  25. We run two of the upgraded versions and they are fine saws, but they should've been like that from the start. What I meant was uncompromising "I refuse to try any other brand" is not good for consumers
