  1. Bob if you press the blue downwards arrow it takes you to the first unread post of that thread.
  2. It won't intergrate into arbtalk you need to watch it on the youtube app.
  3. I think stihl also says use 40:1 unless using stihl oils.
  4. the new longreachs have 2mix engines I think? Also yes they've changed to a new head design and in stihls infinite wisdom decided that they'd discontinue the old model before stock of the new was ready.
  5. I actually really like the Oregon techniblade 7mm for Brambles. But I am using it in the largest echo brushcutter. I wouldn't use anything less than combined thickness of 8mm (i.e. 4x2 or 2x4mm or 4x4mm etc. etc.) In a large machine.
  6. He linked it further up. It's the plasticy one for bent shafts. Really I think a proper answer is to get yourself a used brushcutter/clearing saw like a fs 400 or husky 345 and a proper jet fit head with some decent line. It'll be so much quicker and less painful.
  7. £5 for a 120mm fan with 70 cfm. Fancy green leds too.
  8. That makita has the same blades and gearbox as the echo 185. Very good really.
  9. I wasn't trying to hate on it. Just sturggled to see how it fit into the European market. Everything else I've seen looks great. How much is the M8D? As it's only 200kg heavier but seems much better power ratio. I agree it looks solid like all american chippers do but if you're going over 750kg I'd want the machine to have power to spare not have a small (relativly) petrol engine.
  10. and it isn't abrasive like redex
  11. Do you plan on ever selling the Boxer X7? 25hp Petrol but 944kg. Cant see that winning over 6 inches even if it has an extra inch capacity.
  12. Bit of redline diesel treatment every now and then will be good for it then.
  13. 1 bloke 2 days platform and waste away sounds about right for £500.
  14. DPD are my favourite. I've also got to know the driver anyway so know he won't mess me around with things like this.
  15. Probably but its either got the 2.8 litre out of the old Iveco Daily or the 3 litre out of a nissan patrol. Not a lot to work with.
  16. The echo hand held is a left hander if you're looking for another hand held Personally we use br 430's.
  17. Anyone ever brushed out the floor in there?
  18. https://twitter.com/VansAttack/ This twitter page has a lot of info about it
  19. Drill a small hole just below the keyhole in a citreon and all the locks open. Renault master rear light (so only panel van) pop the 3rd light out and you've got access to the locks, same on a sprinter. It's not just fords they're all bad.
  20. Most ride on's you'll fall out of before they tip though. It's before 45 degrees though.
  21. Iseki overr kubota for ride on collector. Cheaper better collect and just as robust Sent from my SM-G920F using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. Looks a lot like the echo head to me?
  23. Scratching the paintwork needlessly by doing things like leaning ladders or polesaws against the truck does my head in
  24. Radmore and tucker. Near exeter just off the motor way. There also forest and arb in Andover Sent from my SM-G920F using Arbtalk mobile app
  25. George Carrs is the biggest around I think. I'd go to R&T though. Sorbus is near Frome but they don't sell saws.
