  1. If you haven't got the correct cooling off period in your contract (depends on where you are selling goods/services but its 14 days for arb work) then it is not a legal contract and they can choose not to pay, just like if they ask you to cut down that tiny prunus and you charge an extra £10 without re issuing terms and getting written agreement (along with waivered right to canel) it is not a legal contract and they don't have to pay. Of course 99.99999% of people aren't going to not pay you over it but that doesn't change the consumer law of distance selling.

    Ride on

John Deere CR125 is about 2k I think. A friend uses one for the 3 lawns he has that need a ride on. He likes it a lot. Garden Kit sells them I think? I'm sure he knows much about the machine anyway.
  3. I'm fairly certain that it's a 14 day cooling off period for our trade, upped from 7 recently. If you dont then the contract is not legally binding. I appreciate often we dont give t&c's etc. and just give a price and a start date.
  4. A council one if I remember the thread right? 15 years old or something.
  5. It's a drop sideright as it's got single rear wheels? Would've gone the whole hog and gone crew cab (or tool boxed) tipper personally.

    Hovermower

Pellenc and maruyama make a blade that scythes through instead of whacking it with bit of plastic and flinging it. [ame=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wui0XJjubrA] [/ame] Not a replacement to the strimmer head but in some circumstances would be better.
  8. https://www.facebook.com/pdhaine/videos/10154519554953574/?pnref=story Thats it
  9. Not a problem Barry. I'm used to people pronouncing my name wrong anyway. It's Seth although often clients with bad hearing or a bad case of ignorance call me seb/steve/steph or even shane.
  10. Ah I see. However that mower is still going fine with no fautls at all and am looking at a new roller. My name isn't Mike though. Not sure where that came from? I know ploggs called me mike/gus at various points for whatever reason, but neither of those are correct. Thank you though. And if I do need a new 4 wheeler in the future it will almost certainly be another Stiga:thumbup1:
  11. Thanks for that. I had a problem with a (used) lawnflite roller that was the dog clutches so this mountfield did peak my interest with the cone clutch. If Etesia made a rear roller attachment for their Duocut 53 I'd buy that one in a heartbeat but they dont seem interested in making it for anything bigger than the pro46. I agree.
  12. Every time you post a load of bull and someone calls you out on it it's always 'light hearted comedy' Would you still rate the kaaz gearbox above the mountfield?
  13. Really? Do you just post crap everywhere trying to ruffle people up? why does anyone do anything for aesthetics? Want that wall blue? just wear blue tinted glasses everytime you look at it.
  14. That bandit looks good enough to have a quite nap in.
  15. trade in for what? Also how about an ex butcher van? Curtain side but not hugely high.

  17. What difference does that make even if they were? NFU are good if you have a claim as well (office dependant)
  18. Make sure you keep the choke lever spring oiled, if you don't it can be really hard to set the choke.
  19. Why was so much left on the side of the tree? Looks hardly touched. Client request?
  20. Also humidity regularly up in the high 90s and even 100% occasionally. Woods not drying at all at 100%
  21. I read duratorq engines shouldn't be jumped with the clutch down as there is no oil pressure for the timing chain adjuster so the chain can jump on shock load and wreck the cam carrier. Apparently just pulling it from being in gear is okay though? Luckily never needed to jump my mk6 though.
  22. As in the milling and woodcraft areas of arbtalk.
  23. Other side of the coin. Used a 4 mix for 4 years until it got nicked and it only ever ran on red. Never had an issues with valves.
  24. Was he the guy who used bamboo torture?
  25. What do you do about all the shoots that grow from the roots?
