  1. That is Prunus Avium.
  2. So would you top work pre planting , or grow the stock , graft the inter scion and let it grow tall enough before grafting? Or buy the stems in?
  3. Avium most likely.
  4. I graft two year old apple trees to make family trees , and lots of bench grafting , so yes I can graft at any hight, if I can get there! What do you call a standard? When I first started ,a standard had a five foot leg , and then the head.. I presume you mean at 3.5' or something?
  5. Polish girl who works with us at times degloved her finger when she jumped off the trailer. The ring on her finger got snagged and drew all the skin and tissue off. They had to amputate.
  6. I got my chains today. I will tell you what I find. Initial impressions are that they are nicely finished. I shall be cutting firewood this week and will find out something about them.
  7. If none of that works , get them to ship some grafting wood over and I will make you some.
  8. I quite agree. Sunset one is good.
  9. I have only ever run this saw on Stihl Ultra and Redline 2 stroke oil. It looks really good to me , though I am no mechanic.
  10. Impressive trucks. Borrowed my mates 02 when my Landy went wrong. Had it three weeks and bought an 08 , I was that impressed. Good at towing , good in mud and comfortable.
  11. Not a fan of green pheasant either. That's how they used to eat them round here. I like my meat tender , so I hang deer for a bit.
  12. Munty is really good. Hang it for as long as practicable .
  13. I will go halves with you . You cut them down , I will take them away. I won't charge for disposal.
  14. Bad grammar I think .
  15. My fowling pieces. From top to bottom Browning BPS pump action ten bore. Zabala Canardier double discharge Browning 425 waterfowl.
  16. Some of that I don't understand.
  17. Thank you mate.
  18. It's got and had problems. My main concern though is the engine. It developed the now obligatory diesel in the oil problem which went on for a good while before the crack on cylinder no.1 was welded and new crank bearing put in. My question is , even though when it's not in limp mode , it goes really well , can I expect the engine to last any amount of time ? I don't want to spend more money fixing all the other things when I could cut my losses now and move on.
  19. I know where there is a rotavator in a tree. Watched it get engulfed over 30 years.
  20. Works fine with a .325 drive and chain on a 560.
  21. Very clever.
  22. Don't know how the chain will cope on the long term on the 560 ,but it's animal fast . The 261 i originally nought with a low pro chain but wore the bar out and used a standard setup for a while. There was an offer by one of the site sponsors for a Sugi Hara bar and two chains in low profile and I took this offer up. 50cc do go well with this setup , I like it.
  23. Got one on a ported 560 and a ms 261 but not got a 550.
  24. Driving a Ranger at the moment with 200,000 miles on the clock. Everything works.
