  1. Leaf minor damage is what it's called.
  2. Ported 50cc should tick all boxes ? Echo , Dolmar , Husky 550. This is what I would do. Any of them should be fun to work with and let's face it , if you have to work ,it needs to be as fun as possible.
  3. Stihl 261. (I only said that to even things up)
  4. I have used both chains but on different saws , have not had time to compare them on the same saw ,my brother found wire with two chains. He is a bloody nightmare with machinery. Anyway , they sharpened up really well and on my Spud ported 560 with the TXL on I cut a full 10'x5'5 trailer load with mesh sides plus the Navara buck , full of plum wood from an orchard. Probably 6 cube in one hour whilst my sweating mate loaded. So far the TXL is holding up well to the 560 ,I wasn't sure it would handle the power. Will report more when I get a good go with both.
  5. Stihl ultra bottles work well for me. Need some more now , I don't use much but don't want to use anything else now.
  6. I use it at 50:1 . Smells good too.
  7. It's the other red way.
  8. The best combo I have have found is Ventile underneath Goretex. Any moisture that vome through the Goretex is blocked by Ventile and any perspiration will go through Ventile easily and not come back.
  9. No ,Dolmar is a Dolly. A girls toy.
  10. Better check mine then
  11. I know that man Matt. Very hard working man and a pleasure to know. Said to be grumpy sometimes , but I think he is a softy.
  12. Seems more tha coincidence to me.
  13. Their not in collaboration with Oregon are they?
  14. This may not help wasp numbers. Filmed last week by my brother
  15. It's dangerous out there
  16. I suppose you could try some sort of bridging graft to trees that seem in danger. Trouble with grafting beech is they are not easy to get to take.
  17. I have a wasp in conservatory at the moment. This time of year they hunt insects , especially spiders . My mate and i watched him approach a spider and make a grab for it , but he was too slow. Spider absailed down and though the wasp followed ,spider made it. Wasps will twang webs to make the spider come out so he can grab him.
  18. Are you Bolam? Made me giggle
  19. Nice work Graham.
  20. Look what my dog brought me No damage , put back with his mate.
  21. Or up at the crack of Dawn.
  22. All that tree needs is a good woman
  23. That was quick Rob ! Will have to find time and compare the two chains . Thank you.
  24. I would be too far at Outwell I would think.
