I remember be a year like that. Cattle farmer over Eley had a big problem with pigeons on his peas due to thirst. We shot hundreds off there in two attempts.

My sister in law went out with a Dutchy. He taught her a greeting to say to his sister when they met. She laughed for ages. Turned out he taught her to say "Hello , my name is Sue , I have small tits and a fat arse".

My old man got some hand made half moon shove hoes , made in Holland , 4 to 6 " across and brilliant . Very thin blade just glides under the soil. I would use something like this and a knapsack with Diaquat for seedlings.

So is it good practice to idle a hot saw so it can cool down a little before switching off . Heat soak and all that? Sure mine runs hotter after porting and a good muffin.
