Mate and I walked 11 miles each spraying with 20 litre knapsack. That was a fairly hard day. Boss was with us , but declined work the next day !

Pretty sure the Brit part solid flywheel is made by Rakeway . Rakeway make clutches for road , race and rally.

I don't mind them eating them if there is an abundant supply.

I presume they are short stopping . Definately not as common as they used to be . Alegedly , the seeds they like are in short supply.

Leaking diesel into the oil from number 1 cylinder. A lot too.

So what sort of money is one of these kits? New Td5 cylinder der head is around £1000

If you can wait until next spring , I will come and do them for you. I do a bit of freelance grafting /budding. We can make them look very pretty.

I do like the Td5 , it is a good engine and it has a little red box attached to the ecu , it was there when I bought it. Turner do a Spanish head without the head problems , so I will likely get that rather than a Boyled head. I do a bit of heavy towing and it is good at that ,a V8 conversion would cost as much too . I will keep you informed of progress. Cheers.

TD5 has cracked head ,so I am going through the options ,plus a V8 sounds rather nice.

You could always graft them with somethings nicer.

My 560 you did has really improved. I would like a 395 with the works.

Anything that will fit reasonably easily and doesn't get cracked heads.
