  1. I would love to see the waste in a long list, money they could have just said no we won't tax you as much. New for 2023, a campaign highlighting stopping doors banging or the perils of putting one foot infront of each other. Maybe a ministry of funny walks, but I have a bad feeling they would actually create one!.
  2. Sure it wasn't a hair dye accident, like blonde turning green ?.
  3. I didn't want to say it, but I thought that would be the idea of a never ending cycle of buy a new one and live with the torture of being always ringing about the warranty.
  4. And what happens when you're warranty is done and you have to fork out of your own pocket?
  5. Might not have got out of second gear, but bomb proof and reliable.
  6. There was a Guy Martin thing ages ago talking about trucks and the newer engine stuff. He said something like a modern Diesel hgv injector fires 14 times per stroke to improve emmisons and do less mpg than the late 80s and the old mechanical diesels.
  7. Yeah I get that part, but surely that's a start point for tracking?. Kinda why I asked.
  8. I do have a question tho, whenever I buy say a Stihl product. They do fill in details which I assume go to Stihl, does that have any success?
  9. Why not just take him for an afternoon at a indoor climbing place, as a climber I guess you're qualified enough to be the instructor. Safer, warmer and atleast he gets a taste for heights before spending money on gear and training.
  10. Ooh a smart crayon, Bluetooth & Alexa ?.
  11. They'll probably return the crayons because they couldn't sharpen them in the pencil sharpener.
  12. Government launches new 30-second TV ad urging Brits to draw their curtains to save on energy bills | Daily Mail Online WWW.DAILYMAIL.CO.UK The advert is part of the Government's £18 million 'It All Adds Up' public information campaign, launched...
  13. The EGR stuff should only kick in during start up, as it recirculates at the start to boost warm up time and then it should isolate. Obviously I'm not an expert, but you did blank it between the EGR and the engine. Allows the solenoid thing to actuate but will never get bunged up.
  14. I'd be more worried about gypsum plaster board, paint and a whole host of other common household things around the home. Especially MDF or manufactured timber items off gassing formaldehyde etc. Burn safely and in a newish fireplace and you'll be fine 🙂. Know too much and you'll be eying up the hermit lifestyle, hermit not Kermit. That a whole lot of porcine domestic abuse!.
  15. Is that so you can also have an afternoon snooze and be back again before closing time, scouring the shelves for the reduced whoopsies ?.
  16. I can still never understand why the oap's are there at the shops at the crack of dawn.
  17. In the old days we just used a thin sheet of metal like a baking try or biscuit tin thickness, so it wouldn't be noticed on the MOT. Not sure about if you need an EGR delete, but worth a try.
  18. I get the same thing with FedEx from Sweden, sits in a depot for a week then it arrives. Postnord is absolutely zero hassle in comparison and sales through.
  19. Does that also apply to parcels tho or is it all private companies. As Norway and Sweden don't really have eBay as such.
  20. It's a way of describing a not so pretty lady which you might resort to on a night out ;). Think it might have been a 90s Chris Moyles radio 1 thing, from back in my yoof.
  21. Local AA man might be funnier, bloke turns up to some remote breakdown expecting a fun time and find a bloke fumbling under the bonnet.
  22. They utilised other apple phones to piggy back location details back the apple, Bluetooth is good for 100-300m so unless you're in the literal middle of nowhere it still works.
  23. Atleast if you're cancelling yourself, go out in a blaze of glory. Do a Kanye or something memorable.
  24. The Telegraph: France to deliver letters just three days a week – while Royal Mail pleads to end six-day service. France to deliver letters just three days a week – while Royal Mail pleads to end six-day service WWW.TELEGRAPH.CO.UK Britain and Germany are now outliers as Europe's postal services evolve
  25. Is the by the front door meter reading thing the French use, just a french thing or is it used elsewhere?.
