  1. I think making wax rubbings of space might be a tad wasteful. I space walked and all I got was the crayon drawing of the earth with mummy and daddy holding hands.
  2. Possibly a problem for the Americans as they used pure oxygen up until quite late on in developments. Think the Russians realised the dangers of using pure oxygen long before the NASA fireball, along with using pressurised atmospheres making escape almost impossible as the doors opened inwards. I think they still use pencils still even now.
  3. Or a bit Adolf and eugenics.
  4. Is that written in almost illegible permanent marker on the recycled plastic milk bottle it came in ?.
  5. Artisanal vodka, is that a bit like back woods russian moonshine ?
  6. And a small mortgage, almost 15k including the VAT
  7. That's just a variation on the Wankel engine design. Every engine design is a comprise between efficiency and complexity, they aren't sitting on some mythical 5000 mpg engine with 1 moving part. It's probably better to just return to low rpm and high torque, a F1 car engine is designed to last one race a 400rpm diesel thumper is designed to outlive us all. They even had diesel RC plane engines in the 50/60s
  8. So is rustic still in the round or would that be free range ?. Artisanal must be axe split ?
  9. Whenever I've seen USA videos they seem very wasteful, lots of slivers and undersized bits that get tossed away. American idea of cracking a walnut with a excavator sized sledgehammer.
  10. A&E delays causing up to 500 deaths a week, says senior medic | NHS | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM President of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine believes waiting times for December will be the worst... Another headline to fill you full of confidence.
  11. Think we're trawling titanic depths for puns, even zee seagulls won't follow this trawler.
  12. I'm sure there's a salmon based response somewhere here.
  13. A loving son one would hope 🙂.
  14. And with what limited budget are the forestry commission going to be able to investigate. Is it going to be a private prosecution if the CPS and police aren't involved?. As one would assume if it's a private prosecution it would be like a court case over a breach of contract. But saying that, wouldn't it be the crown Vs ..
  15. Blue should be around 1.2 X 1.2. I just use meshed IBC cages, heavy as hell when filled but stackable and saves on space as they don't fall over. Does require hand balling for delivery but it's upto 1.2m3 depending how tightly I pack them.
  16. 0.45, just about a builders sand bag. Better biting the bullet and get some IBCs.
  17. The holly tree appears to be snapped in half and not cut, brutally trimmed previously tho. But he wants to be ever so helpful and public spirited.
  18. Foraging isn't legal at all without the landowners permission and no council property doesn't make it yours even in part. Taking a few berries or mushrooms might be considered foraging, still doesn't stop it being theft. Eating a few berries along a footpath or hedge probably won't get you in trouble, removing a dead tree however might not end so well.
  19. That was the cheapest used on fuelwood yesterday and that wasn't with a crane. Either way it's a lot of money without knowing you have a reliable market to pay for it, I'd probably be more tempted with a tractor like that to do some contracting. Decent flail for around 10k, £40+ an hour in a warm cab.
  20. 60k ex vat for a used heizo tho
  21. 95 hp/ 71kw at the shaft 70-125kw required according to farmi. Definitely agree it would be a good rig, maybe smaller chipper tho
  22. Speak to the installer, you've paid your money so make use of their experience.
  23. Think 120 might be a bit small, my 90 bogs down on a tp150 at times and that's all handball feeding not via a crane. I'm not saying all my horses are still under the hood at close to 10k hours but most of them must be still in the corral. The heizo use a gearbox arrangement tho, the farmi will be direct drive like the TP.
