  1. Bloody gremlins! :-)
  2. I guess if it were blocked, try opening the fuel cap after 20 minutes to release the vacuum...
  3. Fair point, or is it leaking? http://www.lsengineers.co.uk/tank-vent-stihl-part-no-1121-350-5802.html
  4. Ps when you start her hot & blast the trigger full bore, does it fly or bog down?
  5. From new!? Yikes, well I run two Ms361s 1 from new 8yrs ago & the other 2nd hand last year & never had this kind of problem with 'em (both been faultless) Have had a similar problem with ground maintenance kit when hot & the causes were - degraded fuel line & fuel primer (OK not on 361) a faulty / knackered gasket (head & carb on separate occasions) For whatever reason heat build up is causing the problem, so expansion maybe altering fuel /air ratio or lack of compression.
  6. Without stating the obvious... Have you cleaned the spark arrestor & air filter. Changed / gapped the spark plug. Also checked fuel line & filter.??? What's the compression at cold & after 20 minutes work? May just need a rebuild :-o
  7. :d:d:d:d:d:d:d:d
  8. Well, i'm nicking this
  9. You pay your money, you take your chances... If it's duff then just put it back in the auction next week. Have had about 70% good luck & 30% duff stuff @ Brightwells.
  10. I'm a freelance subby too but if there's no work there's no pay. The times people have cancelled booked days within 24hrs or that morning more often than not find other work for me but if not, you've got to take it on the chin. There was no mention of if the employed lads COULDN'T get in, just cancelled due to wind I presume (cos unfortunately no one has ever cancelled me due to rain) Same as when firms book you up then rearrange / cancel days a week or two before... The joys of being s/e. Do you charge a cancellation fee?!
  11. Subby - no work, no pay On the books - you have to pay, either find something for them to do or even ask if they mind taking it as a holiday
  12. Well said
  13. Oooooh spot the husky owners!
  14. I'll bring some bacon on Thursday & maybe a beer for after work
  15. Lol & I'm looking forward to it too ... Be nice without £100k lodges In the way ;-) ... Canny wait - proper fell fest.
  16. Either speak to the landowner & drop the fence or knock the tops out half way (ish) & fell em away from the fence... Remember without a groundy, it'll be your mess to clear up :-)
  17. Oh well dismiss it totally then as clearly it's not relevant...
  18. http://www.wood-database.com/wood-articles/fluorescence-a-secret-weapon-in-wood-identification/ Have you got a uv lamp? :-)
  19. Bet that blunted the 88 a bit! :-)
  20. Sunny, dry & just warm enough for a cider :-)
  21. Can thoroughly recommend the Ms361 versatile & faultless
