  1. What is your price range, how much and what size are you splitting?
  2. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=61971 This might help
  3. One question eddy, do you do aspen stickers for putting on a combi can ?
  4. I have just finished burning a large amount , don't think I will bother with it again, you need to turn the stove up to get good heat , then it burns too fast and when you open the door it spits out, quite violent at times.
  5. Portek also do them, a bit cheaper than machine mart but not as cheap as lidl. I clamp the chain with the lever for each tooth otherwise the chain can rock a little. Just in an attempt to get a more precise grind on each tooth.
  6. Firefox 8, lots of heat, cheap to buy, will lake a 15inch log. Had ours 2 years great stove. Just heat no water but with a fan to move the heat keeps the whole house warm. Stays lit for over half the year.
  7. Nice door furniture, was it custom made?
  8. I ment to say it would be a good time to get aspen so the fresh carb could be setup for it. Take it to the shop with the saw if they don't sell it.
  9. As already said, it is your carb that needs attention. I had an issue about a year ago. Carb kit sorted it. If you don't use that much fuel you could be wise to use aspen in your saw. It will not degrade as fast and be better for the saw. Using fresh fuel will prob not do much without the cab having some attention.
  10. How long will a 5l can last you
  11. Have you used the one can of fuel over the 2 years or have you used fresh?
  12. How old is the saw and when was it last serviced?

    Aspen fuel

I was thinking of going over to aspen as I don't use that much fuel . my question is , I have a husky combi can , is it best to keep aspen in its container or is it OK to put in a combi can. I know aspen do a no spill spout but as I have one on the combi why not use that? Thanks in advance.
  17. I would get I touch with the site sponsor that is nearest and ask for a good price , or even better go and see them .
  18. Engraving is the best way to mark your stuff, go over it with marker to make it stand out. Put your markings in hard to grind areas so they are harder to remove. All stickers can be removed.
  19. Its for .325 and 3/8 chain. Great grinder for sorting out damaged chains and keeping it balanced between file touch ups. I have found the edge lasts longer than a file sharpen , maybe due to a little heat. Not blueing!
  20. Could be easier and cheaper to use a subby, or even set someone up as a subby, but only if they want to. Not a dodge.
  21. I was asking as I have one and it just stopped working, my machine had very little use and saw about two and a half years old, but after speaking with portek they said send it back. Today I received a working machine back with a new wheel and my old wheel in the box. It was out of warranty and they had no obligation to help, but hats off to you portek. Great chain grinder and fantastic service. Thank you.

    What I pad

I think your question is more , what is the best case. There are a few indistuctable ones that are also waterproof. I don't use one but I think a few peeps on here will
  23. chainsaw willies for mucky non climbing jobs. Hope that's a typo 😉
  24. The 135 is a great little saw. Stop looking and get one. The saw at the front of my pic is a 135
