  2. Found this growing in my wood store, any ideas? I have looked through the fungi app but can't find it. Might be too small? Like little red worms on oak.
  3. Hi, I was wanting to fit the highest snr muffs to my helmet as my ears are getting old before their time. Anyone know what are the highest rated and fit the helmet? Thanks in advance Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. Anything is worth trying once, nearly. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. I don't think it will work, if you touch a wasp nest it falls apart, texture like burnt paper. Great if it did though. Good luck. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  6. Thanks peat and garden , good to know. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  7. Why is the plug dark on one side and pale on the other, is it down to using as adorn rather than aspen? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  8. Adorn read aspen. Typo . ffs . Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  9. I have put about 5 tanks of adorn through my saw and wondered if I was running it a bit rich? What do you think?
  10. Looks expensive and slow Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  11. If you have a few cuts to watch you can see what the log is doing and act accordingly. Try to relieve the tension at the easiest end of the log , a few extra cuts can make you like easier. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. You could do a few cuts close on the comp side and cut twice from beneath. That way you can see when the log is moving and give you chance to remove your saw before it gets pinched. Also if its stuck both ends cut in two places, don't try and get separation with one cut. Practice will teach you best. Are the logs rolling a bit when you cut? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. Thanks Eddie. Just the part.
  14. You need at least 2 bays, once you have used your seasoned wood you need to fill that bay up with fresh logs and leave to dry. Otherwise you will spend more time moving logs than cutting them. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. Are the bays open at the front, if so the logs should be stacked pointing to the stone wall behind. Or anyway you want. I can get a bit ocd about stacking wood. If the bays aren't open at the front how do you get the logs out? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. Another PIC Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. Hi mark, if its your only store you will be best having the long stone wall as the back and use pallets to create a few bays . that way you can have wood drying and have a store that you are taking from. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. Lazy ! It works Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. Keeps the air flow. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  20. The stone wall will be cold and wet. Pallet the side and stack your wood and it will compensate for the reduced width. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. Have you put pallets along the stone walls to create am air gap? If not the corner could get mouldy, also pallets on the floor Sent from my Nexus 7 using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. Shop around and you will get one under 500.
  23. Mod it to one handed and large rings are not an issue, once you have them into 1/4 you can put the 4 way wedge back on.
  24. For your budget I think the handy 7 pro would be a good bet, £500. You can spend more on the same machine in a different colour or spend more and get a more pro machine but they will cost around £1200 upwards.
  25. What is your price range, how much and what size are you splitting?
