  1. They probably have an office.
  2. He's from Barcelona.
  3. Yes we have to live with it till the next election and see what the Tories make of it. They already gave all the millionaires a £100,000 tax break and cut the NHS by back door means giving contracts to their contributors. In 2007 I had cancer and was treated within two months, now it takes me 3 weeks to get an appointment to see a doctor as there are less of them. Where do they stand on helping the working man, they are only interested in big business and banks and anyone who thinks they will do anything for people like us is deluded.
  4. Whose fault is that though ? You did have a 346 once upon a time.
  5. I've seen them at the swimming baths. When they got out the water level went down two feet.
  6. £48.65 inc. vat from Skyland according to their price list

I don't think Husqvarna sell the 435 as a "pro saw" it's more of a householder firewood saw. Trio brake is only an extension of the front brake handle which you can operate from the right hand, it doesn't come on when you release the throttle but it might get in the way sometimes. All modern saws that meet regulations have inertia brakes for kickback protection so it is probably not mentioned as an extra feature.
  8. Take the clutch off and look at the oil pump drive if the clutch springs are not shot.
  9. He wouldn't dream of using an axe, he has chainsaws
  10. Another point on file knives they do need to be old files not cheap newer ones which are only case hardened and will not temper like quality items. If you know any farriers get some old hoof rasps which are usually better quality material but they need to be left in a fire overnight before you work on them.
  11. No I only fitted and shaped the handle Jon. The Damascus blade was from a gun show. Look on brisa.fi for blades and stuff. I got my wood from a woodturner's supply shop in the Peak not far from here and use a Powerfile and various other tools for shaping. The pins and lanyard hole are nickel. I have made a few from flat ground stock bought from Cromwell tools it's 01 tool steel and can be hardened, oil quenched and tempered with a blowlamp and a domestic oven and it's not expensive to buy.
  12. I'd call that the slide cut, impressive aim but a bit optimistic on the truck capacity.

    Cuckoo

I've not heard a cuckoo round here for over 10 years, might be going deaf though.
  14. Baby weather here, windy and wet. Keep calm and drink tea I think today.
  15. I've watched his youtube demo of dovetails in under 3.5 minutes and it's amazing.
  16. I've watched Magpies distracting a bird while their partner in crime robs it's nest and once we put some bacon rinds on the feeder and one took it and came into the lean to at the back of the house and carefully hid it in my woolly hat which was in my bike carrier while I was watching through the window. We had Jackdaws and Jays when we were kids but they always used to fly away eventually if you didn't keep them tethered or caged, call of the wild and all that.
  17. Needs a bit more work
  18. That's nice Mick, I like the raw rustic no nonsense functionality. I did one for a friend in some wood I had called Partridge wood (he goes shooting so it seemed appropriate) He bought the blade from a gun show at Newark. Get some 3mm veg tanned leather next and have a go at making a sheath for it. I still do them occasionally but not as much as I used to. It is quite absorbing.

My wife just pointed out a local spare or repair husqvarna on ebay that looks like yours with an orange brake handle but it's a 50
  20. That's the voice of frustration if ever I heard it Get mad with it and force it in, don't let it beat you
  21. So if I am rural and want access to the law I have to join Twitter, what if I want to report the theft of my computer ?
  22. We have some stuff called Stove Magic which we got with the stove about 12 years ago and still have some left as you only need a tiny blob on kitchen roll when the glass is tarred up. It seemed expensive at the time but it works really well.
  23. I saw our first Swallow about two weeks ago perched on the tv aerial and have seen a couple on phone wires while out walking but not seen any quantities and still waiting to see a Swift, that's when you know it's warming up.

It certainly doesn't look like it's done a lot of work or someone has cleaned it fastidiously every time it's been used.
