  1. I got a much used entec treebusta, which is supposed to chip up to 4", but I have never put that big a piece through it, it works fine on branches but isn't so good on hedge clippings & small stuff. So after having an on site demo I got an Eliet major 4s shredder. It shreds up to 50mm, but with the wide opening will easily take forked branches & such, this thing for me & my business, is awesome, the treebusta now doesn't get used. Contact PSD groundcare who are the importers & get a demo when you've got a hedge job to do, which is what I did. Rob
  2. I think forum member shazlewood(nice bloke as well)has one, but he's in Melton Mowbray. Rob
  3. My son had one of these(Tata) as a police car in Afghanistan ! Rob
  4. My son had one as a police car in Afghanistan ! Rob Sorry wrong post !
  5. Are those who have them, still happy with the turf master ? Rob
  6. Gransfor bruks apparently are suffering some manufacturing issues, & are a sod to deal with if you have any warranty claims. I have a Wetterling that I've had for a few years & has served me well, but if I was buying again I'd go for a Hultsfor axe the quality is good(I have a small one for bushcraft)& they are a lot cheaper. Rob
  7. If it was near me, & it was to be left on site, then I'd be interested, but would need to look first. Rob
  8. I got a pair of the air streams today. Just got back from a 3 mile walk with the dog, so far very comfy, got a full day tomorrow will see how they go then. Glad you are happy with your purchase Rob
  9. Just got a pair of air streams, from landmark at Stamford. Having read all the threads about boots, I went for them, as they seem well liked, they feel light, & my walking boots are meindl with the same sole & they are comfy. Rob
  10. I don't climb, other than on steps/ladders, but would like a better pair of boots, are wood walkers for the infantry as opposed the airborne among us ?. Rob
  11. He's in Australia... Rob

Did'nt see the landcruiser I was admiring the Smith & Wesson. Rob
  13. Try cous cous, just add hot water, a tin of tuna/baked beans etc... Rob
  14. While out walking the dog, I saw a luton style van that had tool storage between the luton back & the double cab. I couldn't turn quick enough to catch the make as the path was to icy, would something like this be a standard makers spec or possibly a semi custom ?. Rob
  15. Had a fair few tree's suffering with this on a property I maintain. I use a small crow bar which I find the best thing for taking it off. I've cut through all the big stems taking out a section, & now when I have a few minutes I take a bit more off each time I go. Rob
  16. Love it ! I never get any work done though after all the mix needs to be sampled to make sure its right... Rob
  17. The British army "pro boot" suffered the uv/storage problem a couple of years ago after they were released onto the civvy market, & the soles fell to pieces. My son did a tour of Afghan early this year & was issued Haix desert boots, says they were the best he's ever had. Rob
  18. Got a labourer who is obsessed with "swingers" !, to be fair one couple probably were, as she spent 45 minutes flouncing around in a black silk dressing gown that was so short I could see her.....anyway had to tell the hired help to go & sit in the van. "...Can I pay you in instalments ?...", "only if I do the work in instalments" I replied. Rob
  19. I'm just waiting for the paperwork to be sorted then we will move in to our "new" place, & this will be our first oil fired system, as there's no gas in the village. Apparently there's a scheme where you can get together with others & buy your oil in bulk there by saving a few £'s. Rob
  20. Was'nt me though I do live in Grantham !. But been thinking of the electric option for when I'm moving the tree busta about. Rob
  21. Yep, if you are ever unlucky enough to find yourself in a life threatening situation, & you take a life in defence, your whole history will be delved into, & any comments made on forums etc will be read... An American called I think Mossad Ayoob, wrote a book called "in the gravest extreme", which deals with this situation. Rob
  22. Thanks for all the replies. I think its safe to say then that there isn't one, except for the eleyius 12borius, which is said to have an instant effect.... Rob
  23. I had some dealings with the aftermath of the Tony Martin case, & his biggest problem was that he used an unlicenced firearm, shot him in the back... & left Fearon as a wounded witness. Rob
  24. Had this discussion with my son yesterday, don't friends & family say something ?. The sad case local to us(I knew the guys dad)weighed in at 35 stone & was in his 30's when he sadly died. His coffin was to big to go in a hearse. Rob
  25. My current ramps are 2 metres long. Rob
