  1. Hi everyone, so sadly we making a coffin for a close friend, out of western red, the board in question was sanded to a 120 came in today and its developed some furrows I have never seen a board do that before, twist or crack yes, just thought I would see what you all thought Cheers Mark

  5. So my new Mill is hear hurray have any of you guys built up a woodlands mill and if so is there anything to look out for obviously I have been watching vids but couldnt find a vid made by Woodland Mills so I thought it would be a good idea to ask Cheers Mark

    Oh thanks mate I love Elm I was given a rather big Elm board by an old boy I know who was retiring he actually gave me a whole heap of stuff ,what I need is some 3 or 4 inch square Elm for some chunky table legs .

Hi thats a dificult one its worth what somebody is willing to pay for it if yoy have to fell it and deal with all the brash then its quite a lot of work before you even get to the milling stage you could offer some of the planks and some fire wood from the stuff thats too small to mill thats where I would start will you have to remove all the arisings
  8. Hi Eggs ,swearing is obligatory when moving heavy things it seems to help ,but now its pouring with rain hear oh well will just get wet
  9. my new mill arrived late this afternoon ,packed right in the back of a lorry no forklift so we unload all the other stuff then the pallet is too big for the doors one way and too lo g the other so we ended up cutting up the pallet to get it out of the lorry ,what a shower of shit I spoke with some woman from the company yesterday and she knew the score ,but hey its hear will start building it tomorrow

Hi the company is called DB Schekner not sure of the spelling ,they tried on monday to deliver but it took till yesterday and a load of phone calls from me to get it delivered today hopefully they didnt even let me know they had tried to deliver F###ing crap but hey it will be hear today and milling by monday .

So the shipping /delivery company is a massive global shipping company ,they tried to deliver my mill in an 18tonne lorry on monday and it was only today they ring me leaving no name or number to ring back so I ended up ringing 6/7 diffrent numbers before somebody rang me back so now its coming tomorrow hopefully

  15. So am I being a bit unfair or not my new mill arrived in the country on the 23rd and so far I have not heard anything no delivery date F##K all what can they be doing the tracking says in the depo in London how long does take to bring it to dorset .

Hi guys I thought I would give it a last chance before it goes on ebay the bloody thing is just in the way now so for sale Kitty mulit machine £300 its a cool bit of kit for somebody with a small space it does have some tooling for the spindle moulder and the instruction book I may be able to help with delivery . Hi yeah same as not sure what band was on my old mill when I bought it but I threw 2/3 bands when I changed over to ripper 37, the tracking defo did my head in at first and then I just sort of got it after a few times adjusting spining the wheels by hand and in the end I just got it and then no problems changing bands but at first there was a F##K lot of swearing ,still no delivery date on my new one even though they arrived on wednesday
  20. We have a massive old makita circular saw it cuts 5inch deep and they used to make a plate that would let it run on the track but at the time I found it I didnt buy it now it aint available so I just run it along an 8 ft level

  23. F##c sounds like a nightmare,when I first had my hm130 it took me ages to get the tracking right now I am waiting for my hm130 max I hope I dont have any issues,Chris at woodland mills was telling me that the hm130 max comes all tracked in from the factory .

  25. Hi we have the Makita track saw and its ace ,and I also rate freud blades and a tip I seen somewhere is to use oven cleaner to clean the sticky sap or crud that builds up on a blade,it works fine wire wool and oven cleaner .
