Hi yeah thats the kind of way I have just set mine up and being just on 2inch bearers even with big logs 2 of us with hooks should be able to roll them onto the bed its moving the logs round the yard we our yard is part of a farm complex and the farmer has like 3 tele handlers and he would not even rent me one for an after noon
  18. Yep I totaly agree I had most of the parts to make a hydrolic lifter but it was turning into a massive ball ache so I left it ,been trying to open a buisness account with the Natwest that has also turned into a ball ache ,I am going for a bounce back loan to get a tractor or loader ,better than forklift as I can use it to collect logs.Talking of collecting logs I have an old trailer in my yard on landrover wheels it needs work but if anyone wants it for free come and get it I will take some pics today
  19. What we could do with a somebody or firm who could come up with a hydrolic system that could be retro fitted to most makes of bandmills ,so people with the smaller mills could upgrade ,I would totaly buy a set up that I could just bolt together .
