  1. Cheers pal, no other adjustments to the carb etc?
  2. Is it as simple as that? What size do you drill the hole too big will decrease power? Will it not.
  3. Just while we are talking about stihl's I have a 201t which I bought about a year ago and agree with everybody who says they are gutless, can anybody help me with the muffler mod? How do you do it?
  4. Not sure if photos attached, Hornbeam I was called out to sad to see such a tree come down totally uprooted!

  8. What I call it is reasonable force! As for security it's cheap rent how much do you need to spend on security as there is not that much profit in circa 70 cube which I sell per year?
  9. Just what I was thinking
  10. Just called at my yard this morning and noticed around 1 m3 of split logs have been taken from a timber store and it appears some arb waste as well the yard backs onto some houses with a conifer hedge, there was a piece of beech left in a gap through the hedge! Why do these people feel they can just help themselves, I'd love to get my hands on them! I only have to be lucky once, they have to be lucky every time.:angry:
  11. Hi it just depends, I'm at leeds, I suppose it depends where I'm working!
  12. Does anybody own a woodland in Yorkshire which they would let me do some thinning/coppicing in order to extract some timber, I'd be looking to pay about £10 per cube of timber extracted.
  13. Hi all not really a topic to do with arboriculture however, I'm interest ester in going into stove installation, and have made enquiries with hetas to complete the relevant courses which consist of three two basic courses and then the installation course, however completing the first two courses does not make you eligible to complete the installation course, you need either previous installation experience of three installations signed of by building regulations, this is a catch 22, I mean how would want a newbie attempting to fit a stove or would a certified installer want to give somebody the experience knowing they would set up a business? So if there are any fitters who would like a grafter willing to work for free to gain experience in the Yorkshire region give us a shout.
  14. Big up for the Esse 200 xk:thumbup:
  15. I wonder how much is going for biomass? I was passing harewood estate at leeds and noticed approx 100 tonnes of hardwood stacked up, a rang to make an offer and they told me it was all going for biomass, if this is happening everywhere firewood sellers will struggle, I can only imagine how many tonnes of firewood it would take to run a power station.
  16. 16.5 t:thumbup1:
  17. How's it work with the forestry commission I have also registered for bidding however I've not yet needed to buy any yet, I've noticed the lots range from say a few hundred tons upto thousands, do you have to purchase a full lot or can it be broken down?.
  18. Is the x27 that good,I use a stihl maul it was £90 but is good and heavy, why pay a gym membership? It's only used with a wedge for big stuff!
  19. What a fantastic opportunity, as for the wood not sure about the costs of import, however I have family in Spain who often burn olive wood and are paying 9 euros for a net bag! As for the burning it's sweet!
  20. Alright, I'm also pretty new, and struggle with tech! Just about getting the basics.
  21. The only problem that could happen, if your erecting a domestic fence and using a postmix for your posts, if it is frosty the water will expand and could crack the concrete!
  22. I'm quite new to the firewood business, what's the difference between arb waste and cord?, I mean why do firewood producers not so keen on arb waste is it purely because it's labour intensive and won't go through processors?
  23. I'm full time in the Police, started my business three years ago, hoping to go part time next year!
  24. Bradford near me! That could be classed as Adive.
  25. As said, it's now common Mercedes get done the most as it's a poor design and access is easy, the scumbags are getting about £100 scrap value for the cats but it's cost us best part of £1000 to put right! The other one is transit spare wheels they are going for fun:thumbdown:
