  3. Hi All, same over here! I've never had a problem from my supplier got a few jobs coming up so went to pick some up yesterday thinking it will not be a problem, to be told 10 day wait!! Nightmare! I dare say I'm going to have some unhappy customers.

  5. Hi, mine's a 56 plate and after 86k the timing chain came off and smashed the engine, so now it's got a new one in since that the fuel pump went, bloody nightmare! But speaking to other people they say they are bulletproof, maybe I was just unlucky.

Just to give everybody the heads up the latest one is to steal the lights and grills from land rovers, new shape disco's and range rovers, not quite sure where they are going or why their is now such a big market for them. They smash the drivers or passenger window then release the bonnet and then go on to take the lights and grill!! Be on your guard :thumbdown:
  7. Hi all, I'm sold on the fact that stove fan's work however which is the best one which stands less than 6 inch tall, as the stove in my living room has limited space, I've seen one called the fan c/fan ce are they any good and are their any other small ones? Cheers

  12. Aup all, I'm processing some sycamore which has been in the yard a while and some of it which has been in the shade is coated in a black powdery mould, when you go to split it a cloud of it is released. What is it and is it harmful cheers
  13. If I could get £50 for a cube of ring unsplit it would be sweet! certainly no point wasting time splitting!!!
  14. Hi, it all depends on who you are going to sell it too! Ie if you are selling it to somebody else who sells firewood it would be around £10 a cube unsplit, it also depends on the timber and diameter if you cut it into rings large firewood producers will not be able to put it through a processor therefore would be sold as arb waste reducing the cost!. Where are you located?
  15. I have recently dismantled a large Hornbeam and have never used it as firewood, is it any good?, I've herd they call it ironwood, does it take long to season?
