  1. Woodland international Mpn: RSM-250-9 may also be a helpful code?
  2. As you say NFG the saw isn't a bad saw and I enjoy working on them (some don't) Ive had 4 the past 6 mths that have had the bearing failure issue. The bearing collapses and the back edge of the drum cuts into the case and into the bar oiler gallery. The thin edge of the drum spinning at umpteen RPM means it will cut thru a plastic case before you know it. Not a fault of it being a weak plastic case as you rightly say.
  3. The same as a 440e if that helps? 435, 440, 445, 450, 455, 460 range. crank shaft diameter is 0.472 Not sure if the code csr14 helps but that's the 1/4 drive sprocket a big American supplier uses ;-)
  4. Eddy, I couldn't help myself when I saw xp and special on the same label on the starter cover lol. My saw collection seems to be changing from stihl to husky! It looks tidy but until ive got it I cant tell if it was a bargain or not but it looks tidy. Was bought on a whim seeing a photo... 3/8 lp picco? If it is I can get full chisel stihl chain. Thanks Boy English the info ive heard is seeming to match then. The earlier saws 2000-2005 appear to be small mount and 2006/2007 saws appear to be large mount. The 365 specials are all large mounts.
  5. Could be the 9k by lunch tomoz. C'mon lads dig deep! Its all for charity so miss out on that sneaky drink or packet of ciggys...
  6. Ie for the compression release valve
  7. Was amended as you wrote mate 01701
  8. My last ticket no arbtalk13/1701 Hash336845 about 5 mins ago..
  9. Just bought no arbtalk13/1701 336845 if you can work it out that way..
  10. So far so good then. Sounds like your all happy with them. Can you confirm if they are large or small mount? It appears the newer 05> with newer style caps are large mount bars but older cap styles with the hex for the scrench can possibly be small bar mount? Ive yet to get the saw in my hands but mines def got the older caps. I only got a 20" on my 372 75cc big bore/ported etc 372 and 16" on the played with 357 so contemplating a 13" if its a smaller mount saw and using it just as a plaything/semi hotsaw
  11. Ok found it on ebay. You had that up a couple weeks ago didn't you? Its a late non chain braked 051 by the looks of it. Earlier ones + the 075 had the oil cap on top the saw.
  12. cylinder head on the 075/076 has 6mm studs that run all the way up to the top ie about 5" long and visible The 051 has short 5mm bolts which only the heads are visible at the base of the cylinder. Also the 075/076 normally have the manual oil pumper in front the handle whereas the 051 wont. They are the obvious differences. The fuel tank on the 075/076 is slightly wider but unless you have another saw to compare it to its not to obvious as its only a few mm wider. Get a pic up! Or if your near Exeter I can have a look and soon tell you.
  13. Anyone ever had much to do with them? I know they aren't that common etc prob due to being the smallest of the range and also against the 372... Until today ive never taken much notice of them but never realised they where in the xp range. Already got a 365 special and 372 xp which are basically the same except the top end but the 362 appears to be possibly open ported and some where made to use the smaller bar fitting as per the 346-357 range saws. Seems strange to have an open ported 362xp yet the 365 closed port (special non-XP) wouldn't lose to it if they went head to head. Weight difference is likely to be within oz's of each other. When you compare it to the 346xp v 350 or 357xp v 359 etc... Bought one today but not got my grubby mitts on it yet.. Who knows what may happen tho as ive got a oe ported 365 top end sitting on the shelf and a 75cc kit next to it, and a ported muffler and now thinking about if ive got a short bar that may fit....
  14. +2 for the ms250. Played about with mine with mild porting, muffler mod and better carb running a 14" on 3/8 l/pic full chisel and its certainly no homeowners saw anymore. The biggest issue ive seen with many if the brake drum bearing failing and eating the plastic saw body so I would always advise to replace the bearing if buying secondhand for the price of a few quid.
  15. Also had a thought, the chain tensioner is at that front on early 365 models and on the side on later models.
  16. Ajustable carbs from the 210/230/250 carbs can be made to fit. Other option is to fit a 180 piston and cylinder as they are a nats ball bigger (1mm I think) and port that but then that would involve money. They are easy to work on just a tadge time consuming. Having a cordless drill and t27 torq bit in it saves lots of time....
  17. Without looking the only possible thing which maybe different but marginal would be the early 365 didn't have an adjustable oil pump whereas the special did. In which case there maybe a slight difference having the screwdriver access point to adjust the oil pump? That's the only area I would check difference anyway.
  18. Makes you realise how easy it is today compared to then.. Axes, crosscut saws and chain harnesses... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qb_YNZn_kaQ]Redwood Forests - Lumber Felling & Milling 1940's - YouTube[/ame]
  19. Yup what Goaty said. Heres the vid to show you.. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnMriFIwGyw]Husqvarna chain oil leak repair 346 - YouTube[/ame]
  20. Meteor, Episan, Golf or hyway will be the big 4 which most of us have a tendency to use.
  21. Just checked all are still available £20 for the pulley a fiver each for the pawls from husqvarna
  22. 501 67 32-01 for the 2 pawls that bolt to the flywheel. These will certainly still be available as used on later saws including the 3120xp.
  23. Pulley is p/n 503 17 89-02 if that helps...
  24. 1 1/2 km up the road from his furthest field officially afaik. Its the farming contractors moreso which appear to break the rules, having vehicles exceeding 25mph, using red etc. Even agri registered quads shouldn't exceed the above. I guess the likes of the highways and councils get away with it as "they own the roads"....
  25. As far as I know its 1 1/2km your allowed. The biggest clause which is the main hitter is the vehicle should not "due to its construction" exceed 25 mph. Its that clause which made it difficult for farmers and contractors with JCB fastracs and alike to register it as agricultural. Also meant then it would need to run on white instead of red fuel.
