  1. If your happy Richie Rich that's fine,,,,but whenever I ask you if you want to go have a drink after work and you can't just in case the demonds arise that to me is pretty sad,,,,we miss so many opportunities to chill after a hard days graft and the social side is always something that bonds a friendship...this is my whole point about not being to scared to have a drink..it doesn't have to be a drink feast and get rat ******...these lovely summer nights having a couple of drinks be it cider, shandy or whatever is a great way to finish any working day...like has been said before..we are only here for a short time,,,so make friends,be happy and have what you want when you want without any agenda..i.e..to get slaughtered just because you can.
  2. I wouldn't give him a penny until you know what's wrong with it...I would make a deal with him that if it turns out to be a pig and you have to spend £££££'s on it offer what you think it's worth.or if it turns out it doesn't need much done to get it working top notch again offer him what you think..win win situation.
  3. I think it's all about will power and personality...a lot of people I know use drink as a personality builder and to gain confidence...which is fine if you can control it..I really think it's a bit odd to give up something that you really injoyed having and to stop altogether..I know everyone is different but I will never understand why someone has to get completely off there head when they have a drink and not even remember what they did..my dad was a drunk and there is nothing worse then seeing your dad talking bollocks, slapping your mom about and all the crap what go's with a grown man being drunk. I wouldn't say it had an effect on me cause I like a drink but I know my limits and perhaps I,am lucky and can stop at 4 or 5 pints then go on water, strange but that's how I have always been and I wouldn't For on minute try and imagine what it must like not to be able to stop when you need to.bit heavy and I don't want to open up a can of worms about drink..just wanted to say that a little bit of what you like and or fancy is ok..life has to be about having things you like....???
  4. F...k me Ed you think that'll make it up that hill in bath like your old little van did.:thumbup:nice tidy set up..
  5. I must admit I deactivated from stihl to buy the Echo 211..only had it for a week before it got nicked..so can't really comment as I only used it for about 10mins..but the build quality was good but cant comment on reliability.
  6. Used Robin hedge cutters for years until I had all my gear nicked a couple of month ago.tryd everything but nothing can touch them for power of waight..best of the best..can't get them anymore..think Marita do them now...brought Echo,s has I herd good things..but are **** compared to the Robins I had.
  7. I had a funny moment the other day in TFM went over to have a mootch and brushed against a husky and went all faint......joking the side since I have had to replace my 200,260 & 460 with 201,261 & 461 I have noticed the difference in build quality and power...it may be just me but rather then solid it all seems very light and plasticky..not sure what others think ??????
