  1. You won’t be disappointed and I would guess by then it may have improved...like I said before the output is as near a barrow of chip same as the 150 diesel..ok you may use a little more petrol but in the great scheme of thing it may be a couple of litres over a week..it’s such a good looking machine as well.?
  2. No No...what I was trying to say was you may not be able to get a 150p on Hire but you should be able to get a 130 which will give you a very good gauge to how the 150p would be but obviously bigger engine?
  3. This is were a lot of guys don’t understand the Greenmech range..the 130 is a 6” Chipper not a 5”as lots of people think..just cause it’s a 130 it doesn’t mean 130mm chipping capacity..it’s a good 6” petrol Chipper but with a 24hp engine the 150p is essentially the same 6” Chipper but with a 37hp engine..the diesel is 32hp 6” Chipper..you with me?
  4. What you need to do is get one on hire,if you can’t get a 150p get the diesel as there isn’t any difference in output etc,or alternatively get a 130 and see how you get on...the 150p is as near the same weight etc put 37hp engine rather then 24hp.
  5. It’s all about your budget and what you get for your money but more importantly is the back up you get..can,t speak for Timberwolf,Forst,Jenson etc but I have had first class back up from Greenmech...with my 130 and again with this one.?
  6. Great minds?..party time then...And APF September..yippee
  7. F—k Dan,it’s took me 4years to learn how to post pictures ?I,ll see wat I can do?
  8. It’s not always outside but even when stored inside I think it just helps to keep it just cleaner,I know Chippers are meant to do a job of work but am a great believer that if you look after your equipment it will last that bit longer and look after you,and also when it’s time to sell or trade in the better condition it’s in the more you will probably get for it.£200 well spent me thinks?
  9. Glad to hear it..have already booked a room at the Halfords..think kev Stephenson as a Swells??
  10. Thank you all for comments, and really nice to hearing from you silkster hope all good.
  11. Had it done by a local lad who did cover for my truck..he got the tarp and is all done on a sewing machine..awkward shape but he is pretty good with a needle and thread.

Just thought for £200 I’ll get one made...when you spend £16k on something it’s worth looking after?

  14. You won’t go far wrong with this machine..I may be being a bit picky but when the guy from Greenmech asked if was all good I felt I just had to mention the slight issue with on occasions it I sometimes have to mess about getting the rollers to bite. But if you looking at a new 6”Chipper and also being petrol you need look no further then the 150p..plus it looks fab.?
  15. It’s like everything else it’s down to personal preference,I like the vertical roller set up as do other people prefer the horizontal ones...the petrol 150p looks less boxy then the diesel one and has just around the same out put and is much lighter.
  16. No just forward, reverse and stop.and of course throttle.
  17. This is a better photograph...personally I think it’s a real good looking machine as well as being very capable for size.?
  18. Think I have managed to sort photograph. New 150p
  19. I’ll have a go later or may be someone will click on this and show me..you have a good day and catch up soon.
  20. Morning John it throws really good would would guess around 10 to 15 mts depend on how heavy chip is..Greenmech have just about nailed it with this machine as I would think 80% Of tree surgeons do domestic work only and this machine covers all areas even the price..if you shop around you could get it for under £15k which for a new 6” Chipper is value for money.never figure why a lot of guys spend £8k to £10k on second hand machines when they are not far off buying a brand new one and getting all the warranty benefits..I would recommend this machine ..wish I could post a picture but I have no idea how?
  21. Had my new 150p Greenmech now for around a month..had to wait a while for it from order and firstly I would like to say Greenmech customer service have been fab and very helpful. The Chipper is very good with the more powerful 37hp petrol vanguard engine as opposed to the 24hp Hondas in the 130. The fuel consumption is very good and the design is the best looking machine of any Chipper.out put is more then enough for my needs..but because i’am a design freak I have been speaking to Greenmech as they rang me to see how things were going and I had one big issue that it struggled with forks in branches and always seems to lift rather then stay straight.which ultimately gets snagged.i have a couple of ideas I would like to put to them.but overall it’s a great looking and able machine.i a couple of mates have just got new machines Timberwolf 230 and Forst and while both machines are in some ways better then the Greenmech they are considerably more expensive..I would give the Greenmech 8/10 just the issue with the forks which with a little more thought could be sorted.overall I have made a good choice...and I even like the colour ?
  22. Had 150p for around a month now and very pleased..great machine and good power and fuel consumption for the money.?
