  1. Sorry to hear your news, glad you have a little reminder though
  2. Its worth posting in a wood craft forum.
  3. Haha. Well today i have arranged a viewing and made sure i have finances ready on the day as want this place. Enough room for my workshop for lathes etc. huge garden so can grow veg and maybe even chooks. Acquired a gf over the weekend so busy with her. And purchased nytol so i actually sleep tonight!
  4. Yeah did my first ride on my bike and although i had padded shorts on arse wasn't comfy. Think gel pads required.
  5. Hi. Been watching with interest. Generally the pump system whilst sounding great is not that good when you ratio in cost to benefit. If you are grid connected then there is little payback from the system. Also if you are doing screw in foundations even though those would be removable it would be a major hassle digging the pump pipe network up. Simple solar panels are spot on. Have a hot water system in too so whilst connected to log burner for winter most days hot water will be available anytime for free. My uncle installed a split level pond as he found a spring which the overflow from his grey water also goes into. He installed a small mill system which adds power to grid too. It's only a low provider but has great credentials and looks fantastic. ( like a small garden feature) i know someone who does prototype mill technology if you were interested.
  6. I have downloaded os mapfinder as i go out in my landy too and for work its great. Fantastic app and can record routes with pictures and uploads to icloud when wifi available. Just back from first ride out on the new bike. Really nice. Feels good. 22 miles in 1 hour 15. Malvern to upton to worcester and back.
  7. No i haven't. Will look into it.
  8. Cheers. Has a nice little cheat cog for alpine hills.
  9. Collected my new bike Tomorrow will be doing 20 mile test run.
  10. I struggle to be honest and tend to "graze". I have a thyroid which is very changeable so balanced eating it hard. Not had coffee yet heart racing and skin crawling today. Other days sleepy. I just plod on lol.
  11. Do we know where it is yet ????
  12. Do it. List down to every single branch. Will take time. When they have 300 pages per tree see their reaction.
  13. Hehe. Having seen what elm fetches at auction seasoned for wood turning its gotta be worth making some small rounds out of it.
  14. Where abouts is it? Smaller stuff would be great for wood turning. Do fancy a go at some as has really nice grain
  15. Yeah trying to persuade mates to do it. Will probably add a tenner or so to entry. I struggle to get sponsorship as away and only small circle of people i see regularly.
  16. I'll post up a link if i get the chance for charity ride i am doing. 53miles from worcester to forest of dean stop the night and back if anyone is interested. Theres a 40mile event for british heart foundation in may too. Nice ride out.
  17. Knock a few bricks out in the basement revealing the root. Lots of pics. Then you want a basic drawing of the site with dimensions and what area of coverage of the garden it gives ( simple circle on the plan). Show the wall to be integral to the structure of the building. Also state clearly that if any collapse occurs because the work is unable to go ahead then legal advice will be sought as the risk of danger to resident is significant.
  18. That dog ain't right lol
  19. Its sooo small they would have to look very closely . Its for alpine climbs apparently. I figured gives me a chance to take it easy on the worst hills. I ain't bothered what the elite say snigger.
  20. Ordered it. Giant defy 4 triple. Has 3 cogs on front ( one really small one) so easier on malvern hills. Carbon forks, good review. Loads of extras. £625 :0 Thought what the hell. I ain't gonna get any taller so invest and will last longer.
  21. Just off to order my new bike Just know the moment i get it will do many miles.
  22. Personally if you are selling it a few things come to mind. 1.they probably cut it down because it was making the front room dark. I wouldn't replace it. Just remove the stump and just charge them for that. New owner will want to put a stamp on the place let them choose. 2. Put a few small shrubs in to ease the sale. Bill them for those.
  23. Yeah thats what it'll be. Wouldn't take the expensive bike anywhere i had to leave it. It would be safe at work though as dead locked workshop only i have a key to.
