  4. Epic effort!! I am now regularly running 6-9 miles with min 9 miles in saturday morning. This week i dropped below 14 stone. Gf says its falling off me and keeps feeding me! 5. Wow. Thats really touched me. I do find once i get going and as long as i have fluid its enjoyable. Even to the point i now choose routes according to what will be most interesting not whats easiest. Running along cromer beach. Hard!!
  6. Slowly building up i am doing at least 1x 8-9mile run a week and several shorter runs at pace. Doing the cheltenham half in september and aiming to really break pb. Chris you are doing real well. Bet you have dropped weight too. More i run i am basically vanishing. Lost a stone and a half

I give it a blast once a month or so but our course is woodland with a lot of hidden roots. Tore ligaments last year so i am wary.
  9. Currently doing 11km cross trainer in 46mins 20km on bike in 35mins Then 3km sprint(ish) in 20mins. Doing 30burpees with press ups and jump morning and before bed. And doing 100lengths every sunday morning. I'm bloody knackered!!
  10. Well i should say you'll be ok. Get the bike gears all cleaned up and 3 in 1 oiled. Check tyres are good road tyres. ( it is a road bike i hope, 60miles on mountain bike won't be so easy). Get some good hill practise rides in. And yes for shorts and chamois cream!!
  11. They may do an older time. Will be quieter. No kids to splash and dive bomb you!
  12. There are always smaller pools you can start it. Where your feet touch the bottom. Maybe get you used to being in the water and getting your feet up a little
  13. Yeah 4 hours is a tad much. Haha. Reckon he'd be better upping the tension. Mine has the handlebar adjuster which is great. I do try and do the olympic booster which is 6 mins. 40secs sedate, 20seconds absolutely flat out and repeat 6 times. Trying to get to point of 20mins normal then the boost and repeat. Really good for boosting leg power. Have never sweated so much!
  14. Well hello chaps. Been a while. New house and all that. Well since i was last on i have done 2 minor events both dirtruns and signing up for loads. Am going to attempt a sprint marathon too! Flat out using my turbo trainer 3-4 times a week. Hour yesterday. 1.5 today. Dropped half a stone since christmas. Rupe are you doing icebreaker?
  15. Wow!! Amazing finds! The mortar i could understand but the gun. Legend. Imagine that displayed!
