  1. As a non professional taking a look in the goldfish bowl so to speak I don't mind being sidelined a bit on the day for those that need the practise. Happy with a chance to meet a few people, help out and see what's what if number get busy.
  2. Bit of woodturning And off road running etc Xbox and messing with the Landy. Sometimes I do work but not much
  3. I know someone who will pay £22 a tonne for chips based tamworth. Supplies them to prisons and schools for burning. That's on a bulk purchase. Prefers 40tonne wagon if possible.
  4. Definitely a candidate for the Darwin awards!
  5. What about something like this? http://bit.ly/13LjVq8 Would get you started
  6. I think it's a point to note that there are many different levels to arboreal work. I sometimes help friends clear brush and fallen trees. Much of it such small scale that you wouldn't bring in a large ticketed company because it wouldn't be financially viable. Think it offers good experience in basics.
  7. Thought it sounded better than my sittydownydangleythingy
  8. Ok I'll see if I can't find my man riding harness out.
  9. I there anything recommended to bring. All new to me. I have done rock climbing and abseiling before. Erm and I am often on a man riding winch be it underground
  10. I have found that friends who have kumho and have to do quite a bit of road getting to sites lose rubber very quickly. I have a set of Conway ats on my 90 that cope pretty well for me though soon I will need new ones. May go insa ranger
