  1. Looking for a budget roadbike at the moment as looking to have a go at a few mini triathlons to start with. I'm no athlete but have done some pretty tough events locally.
  2. Most of the greek bailout money was chinese. Was a bit suspicious that a rather smug looking chinese delegate was being courted in the weeks running up to the leaders of the nations meeting in brussels

  6. Still important to wear your ppe! Old joiner i worked with showed me his fingers. The ends were tinged blue!
  7. Yeah i know. Better now. That was 8 weeks ago after i had a new batch of wood to have a go in my lathe. All unlabelled but some definite ash in there. So now i take antihistamines daily just incase and got creams. Also good ventilation is a must!! As for oak coming from a joinery perspective the acid which preserves the oak is the evil element. Think it can tinge metal blue on recollection.
  8. Erm yeah
  9. My old girl back in the day. Long gone now but be glad when i'm in a position to have one again.

  14. Sounds like a motorbike engine would be the way to go then. Even a quad bike set up. Afterall in theory they are direct driving a chain anyway. I imagine one would be awesome for a firewood processor too!
  15. Is it going to be mounted or lifted by 2 guys? The v8 one on youtube is insane
