  3. Don't get britpart! Rubbish
  4. Just blame kim jong un
  5. The gathering of more than 7 people was a labour thing brought about because of the rave/vandalism/sheep barbequeing/ drugs/new age campers on castlemorton common near me. The rave was in 1992/3 if i remember. Bit fuzzy cos we skipped school for 2 days and were kind of out of it.
  6. I suspect ukip will do pretty well this year if they pull their finger out.
  7. Yes to date it has earned us back £77 billion. http://news.bbc.co.uk/onthisday/hi/dates/stories/march/21/newsid_2546000/2546127.stm She fought for british rights in europe when everyone else in europe wanted to cave in for their demands.
  8. One thing she didn't do is sell us down the river. She didn't want part of europe and negotiated £77billion rebate. Kick started the stock exchange which brought money in at a time when we were teetering the edge of not being able to pay public sector jobs. If she hadn't done it someone else would have but labour couldn't fight the unions because they were run by them. It could not go on as it was. People say she killed manufacturing. It couldn't compete on a level playing field and even if it did win contracts for export containers were often sat on the docks for days because dockers were striking because someone had demanded they finish their break and return to work. Operate like that and nobody will order from you.
  9. And my opinion is he's a depressing prick
  10. Morrisey is a prick. Always has been. Two statements without an ounce of fact or reference to actual fact. Why do some celebrities think that because people buy your music they give a crap about your politics.
  11. I'd like to think i could do it. Have to work a bit harder and eat a darn sight better than i do.
  12. The born survivor looks good. The mountain one would be too much for me.
  13. Man vs which mountain? Theres a few i found including himalayas
  14. http://www.mudrunner.co.uk/icebreaker---winter-duathlon-17th-february-2013---event-details.html This is it. Doing thunder run too. http://www.tr24.co.uk/ And total warrior http://www.totalwarrior.co.uk/ Bit mental i am
  15. They are very petty on there. I don't own woodland but help someone manage one. They moaned about that
  16. Haha you weren't far behind me. Have never seen the course so boggy. Have double booked on the weekend of the oblivion. Doing a sponsored cycle to forest of dean then (53 miles) then supposed to get a lift to eastnor for the 5pm start then back to forest of dean and 53miles back in the morning! I have so much training to do.
  17. She said something that i think is very wise and it was long after she retired. "These days politicians think because they have made a speech something has happened. It hasn't. They've just made a speech" I think all the muppets who think they are policy makers no matter what the party should take stock. They are all about catchphrases and banter but no action. She wasn't. You always knew that if she said she did. None of these modern politicians know that to be a truly great statesman you are not going to please everyone.
  18. I cycled round the hills. 11.8miles 189m climb in 56 minutes.
  19. Just because someone is pro thatcher does not mean they don't have sympathy for what happened in some areas. She had to take some actions, maybe she did it too quickly, maybe union action stiffened her resolve rather than appealing to her other side. Fact is somebody have said they hate every thing she stood for. But you can't say that everything someone did is bad because you hate them for one series of policies. It would be hard to prove that no labour voters voted in 1979 when it was such a landslide.
  20. I suspect many of the mentality of some if the demonstrating sheep shouting dead dead dead is similar to those who would gather on rooftops if aliens came down. I did notice there were quite a few foreign students in the bristol bunch. Morons.
  21. Very true! The fact he's toasting the death of the woman without who we wouldn't have the wealth to pay benefit at all. Its hard to believe that in 30 years theres been no opportunity for employment. Some people will always blame others.
  22. The alcohol and food was in there
  23. I come from a family with strong military background. My dad was intelligence at the time and gave briefings as the only sargeant since the second world war to be asked to downing street. On the basis of that briefing he went to the falklands and we didn't see him for nearly a year. She cried in that briefing. She knew she was going to make a decision that would end in dead british soldiers. He lost many friends and colleagues down there and never blamed her. When the time came that there was increasing risk of war with iraq he briefed her again but by now as his role in jsis. She listened to advice from all ranks before making her decision and sticking to it. Then john major arrived useless and indecisive and unemotional sending soldiers to die
