  1. How is that tree still standing. Great pics, looks like a fantastic trip.
  2. Dead standing holly, it must have been dead for along time it was bullit hard and bone dry. Burnt like coal.
  3. Corbyn's just as electable as Michael foot was back in the 70s
  4. I know it's a bit bizarre but after a few weeks the saw starts farting about and cutting out, put a new plug in and it's fine. Hope it is just a duff batch of plugs. Other than that it's fine.
  5. Lockjack is a lot easier to get used to then the spider jack. Only had mine a day, and I was of no going back. I would get a rope guide or similar, makes climbing effortless. No friction.
  6. Same, bought an echo build quality not that of a stihl, got a 201 and not impressed with that either, stupid little spark plugs brake down every two weeks or so.
  7. We have had our gm150 since January this year, and I must say it's been really good. We have chipped tons with it and haven't had any problems at all. The only thing I don't like is turning the disk blades isn't as easy as the old ec150.
  8. I use 2 ultra o carabiner so they work grateful and the wooden toggle doesn't fit through it.
  9. Just started using a lockjack after over 20 years climbing on a prussic I use it with a pulley saver with a pinto pulley .now climbing is effortless. It only took a few climbs to get up to speed. I would never go back to a prussic.
  10. Lit ours last night for a few hours. Terrible weather for July more like autumn.
  11. Worked till 3oclock , had to call it a day way to hot and started to flag.not a day for climbing trees
  12. No, I regret buying it now, wish I had got a 660 instead.
  13. I use a 460 with a 25in bar and use it for most trees very rearly get the 880 out.
  14. Just had my first proper climb on the lockjack sport, arfter 20 years of using a prusic. What have I been doing all these years, fantastic bit of kit. Love it.
  15. It getting very bad around the Dover Kent area, on the way back from a job today, I couldn't believe how many trees had dead tops in some areas it looks like50% of them
  16. Because I bought it on line, I would have to box it up and post it off, can't be bothered just for a simple exhaust swap, I will get it done sometime but going to use it as a back up.
  17. Not overly impressed with the echo 360 , the baffle in the exhaust has gone for the second time and the stop switch not working have to choke it, so bought a new 201, all's good so far had it a few weeks.
  18. 5ft7 12half stone 49years old, could do with shedding a stone.
  19. Same most evenings for a few hours, still waiting for the weather to warm up properly.
  20. Thanks for the link, sent them a message, hopefully they will be able to get one for us.
  21. I will look them up, but it sounds like where they have had problems with the exhaust, there a bit thin on the ground. Hopefully they will modify it as well.
  22. I agree, not a bad saw, the parts problem will let them Down.
  23. I bought the 360tes back in November last year after 2 months the exhaust broke, iv been waiting since for a replacement, apparently they haven't got them in America or Japan.
