  1. Yes, that's one reason I didn't send it back, it is louder, but it also it sounds like a pebble in a coke can, which is really annoying. But that's not the point, it's only a few months old, and they can't get parts for it .
  2. I was impressed with the saw at the start, then the baffle in the exhaust came loose, it's is covered by the warranty but you have to box it up and have the work carried out by the supplier, which is fare enough, but I didn't want to go through all that hassle for a simple exhaust swap. So I was willing to pay for it, so far it's been about 8 weeks iv been waiting iv chased them up a few times, first time it was going to be at least two weeks, coming from America, then they had supply problems, now it's coming from Japan. It seems like I've been waiting for ever. If they Can't get the parts the saw is just about useless. Think I'm going back to stihl 201.
  3. Iv got the new echo for about 3 months, use it every day. I haven't treated it any different to our old 200t . I think it more than capable of holding its own against the other's,and it's a good bit cheaper.
  4. We have just got the gm arb 150 34hp, used it today for the first time properly, put a large pine through it, was really impressed with it, compared to our old ec150 it' blows it out the water it chips fast pulls in awkward branches easily and it's fairly quite. I used a tracked timberwolf before xmas I was impressed with the power of the engine , but the bar on the back was to sensitive and the branches kept on stopping it. And the other thing we ran out of fuel just after dinner, as with our gm you can go for a full day. I did like the timberwolf though. I think they both have there good and bad points.
  5. We have received our gm arborist 150 with the 34 hp engine. Today we put it through its paces, put a large pine tree through it and it took it effortlessly, really impressed, and pleased with it. We had our old gm 150 for 15 years, technology has definitely moved on.
  6. I'm still using mine, just sounds crap, but runs fine.
  7. Yes, they are good saws, it does anything my 200t did. Just hope the exhaust isn't to expensive. This must be a fault as the saw isn't that old.
  8. I have had mine about 4-5 months I'm really pleased with it but it also has a rattle from the exhaust, could get it done on the warranty but the thought of packing it up and posting it just for a simple exhaust swap is ridiculous. Why won't they just post the spare and let me fit it.
  9. The worst prescent was heartburn, to much food and drink

  12. I recently priced a job to dismantel a macrocarper i gave them a quote bassed on 2 days work for 3 men, they so pleased with it they gave us an extra 100 pounds on top. There the customers you want.
  13. Thick frost early morning in kent, but clouding over, just started spitting about.
  14. It was thick frost when i got up( chilly) but its just started raining now, but a like the fire alight so ill just swet it out.
  15. This time of year, it should be ( anyone not got there fire alight).
  16. I bought one about 6 weeks ago, as our 200t is getting on a bit. So far so good, it has done everything our 200 t would have done. I thought it looked very plasticky but it seems to be coping with being pulled around the tree. Nothing broken yet. Ticks over and starts very easy, from hot or cold. You need a husky fuel can to fill it, as rhe filler is small. It not to badly ballanced either, so you can use it one handed. If it keeps running like it is now i would buy another one, time will tell. Also its a good bit cheeper.
  17. I just got the echo 360 , its not as good as the 200t but still impessed with it for the price, using it daily, it gets the job done, comes with a 14in bar, would prefer 12in.
  18. Iv already got through afew cube of wood, had ours alight for about 6 weeks on and of.

  22. I had a wellans( i know i cant spell) for about 5 years , i thought i would try the new tree hog razor back, as above big leg loops, iv been quite impresed not as comfy as the whellans but not bad, and i like the floating ds no more harness twisting round.
