  2. Hi Sam, It sounds like you have good fuel management and have a good fuel supplier. I call on over 260 garden machinery shops and fuel is the biggest problem for dealers and users alike. Pump fuels have changed so much and with the increase in chemicals and ethanol things are set to get worse. Modern cars have sealed fuel systems with computers constantly adjusting valve timing, mixture and ignition. Small engines don't have all of that. Classic bikes are having the same problems. The vintage motorcycle club (VMCC) asked me to do a talk to their members about fuels and fuel problems. Not only with fuel going off to the point it won't ignite in an engine but also With the 100- 130 chemicals in pump fuels engines with carburettors are getting residues left in them at are reducing the jetting. This causes lack of power or poor idle. I often hear a mower engines rev up and down repeatedly in my travels. This is fuel starvation. Cars get used more often and have sealed fuel injection systems so seem to have less problems. They also have multi cylinders and spark plugs. When I had my garden machinery repair business I would often have machinery that I have serviced in the winter refuse to start in the spring even with fuel additives. I would drain the fuel and they would start up with fresh fuel. Just google fuel problems you will find pages and pages!
  3. Hi, Talk to your local dealer they may give you a discount for bulk buys and you can get it delivered at no extra charge. Please also take into account the cost of 2stroke which is already in our Aspen2 and the time saved as the fuel is ready to go. Plus the lower chance of breakdowns. See our website for Pro User of the month and why they have switched to Aspen.
  4. The only thing they have got right is that some 2strokes that have run a lot of pump fuel sometimes need the diaphragms changing. I call on all our mainland dealers and try to talk to all the staff that dealer with Aspen to stop them giving out incorrect information. Thanks for informing me as I will get this put right tomorrow.
  5. Hi, The RRP is a lot lower. £18.98 inc vat I have been talking to dealers who charge more than our suggested selling price but if you the customer tell they that you would buy if the charged the same as other dealers that would help. I can't make them change their price. Is this a dealer with power in the name?
  6. Hi adw, If you have found a reduction in power when using Aspen its sounds like your saws need a quick mixture adjustment when running Aspen. You will be surprised to hear we have more and more pro users switching to Aspen. When they add the time saved having fuel delivered ready to go, the discount for bulk orders and the health benefits they have justified the extra cost. Check out our website to see this months pro user. Have you signed the petition? https://www.change.org/p/government-uk-abolish-road-fuel-duty-on-garden-power-tool-specific-alkylate-petrols-designed-to-protect-users-from-harmful-emissions
  7. Hi, Fuel can breakdown in as little as 4 weeks so try not to keep it longer than that.
  8. Hi all, I have a letter from Stihl saying Aspen does not affect warranty. Husqvarna run every 2stroke on aspen in the factory and the UK workshops buy Aspen from me. Aspen is even listed in the Husqvarna catalogue. I will call Lister Wilder in Cirencester on Monday and get this sorted. If you have any warranty problems because Aspen has been use contact me on 07568 108953 or email [email protected] I will sort it all out for you. Please keep me informed if our dealers are giving out incorrect information. If you have any Aspen questions or concerns please contact me direct. All the best Eddie
  9. Hi, Let me know where you are in the world and who you would like to stock Aspen and I will see if we can get a dealer in your area. As Barrie says the extra cost of Aspen is less than the inconvenience and repair cost of having a problem.
  10. Thanks Barrie, More letters would help and from users in particular. We need to prove it is better for you the users and the environment. Thanks for all your support
  11. That's great news! All support is very welcome!! Thanks
  12. Hi all, Thought you might like to see the latest response from the government. I think it would help if you the users contacted them on this matter to keep the pressure on. Correspondence & Enquiry Unit 1 Horse Guards Road London SW1A 2HQ [email protected] Mr Eddie Bocquillon [email protected] 18 November 2014 Our reference: TO2014/02893 Your reference: Dear Mr Bocquillon Thank you for your letter of 21st October to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, which has been passed to the Treasury. I am replying as Minister responsible for this policy area. The promotion of cleaner, sustainable fuels is one of this Government’s priorities, to ensure a future in which we breathe cleaner air and also protect our planet. However, all tax cuts need to be funded by tax rises or spending cuts elsewhere, and as such, need to be considered carefully in the context of the public finances. The Government keeps all taxes under review, and all tax changes are announced at fiscal events. Thank you for taking the trouble to make the Government aware of your concerns. Yours sincerely Lisa Adams Correspondence & Information Rights Team HM Treasury
  13. I am not sure signing it multiple time will be counted. This needs to be done right or it will be worthless. Thank you for your support.
  14. I have contacted the ministers for forestry and environment for England, Scotland and Wales. Only Scotland came back to me! I pushed Aspen on it environmental and health benefits but was told it's a Tax issue for Westminster. Also it was pointed out that as I worked for the suppliers and importers this needs to come from the users to be taken further. We need more names on the list to help me other wise I will come up against the above again and again. In my travels I am always looking to find the right people to help with this but with such poor support I don't have much chance of getting anyone in power to take notice. Don't forget this does not have to be users of the fuel just people who feel the Road Fuel Tax is unfair and that could be anyone! Thanks to everyone who has signed up. All the best Eddie
  15. I wish pumps were labelled so we all know if they had ethanol and if so what %. One of the many things with my product we guarantee there is NO Ethanol!
  16. Sounds like 200t's needed the diaphragms and "o" ring on the pump pistons changing for new one's. When you switched back to pump fuel the solvents make them soft and swell up. We have loads of 200t & 201t's running on Aspen 100%
  17. If you have run 2stroke mix and switch to Aspen it may take 2-3 tanks of fuel to burn off the old 2stroke oil. The smell of both Aspen and old 2stroke mixed some people don't like. The new FRT Aspen has totally different 2stroke oil so if you have the older type of Aspen2 please try the new Aspen2 with FRT on the can's.
  18. I have noticed a real change over the last 2 years with regards to 2stroke oils As more people use the higher grade and higher cost oils because they know they are better. Using super unleaded and low soot oil or racing oil means the extra cost of Aspen is not much more. Please sign the petition and help make Aspen even more affordable. http://www.change.org/p/government-uk-abolish-road-fuel-duty-on-garden-power-tool-specific-alkylate-petrols-designed-to-protect-users-from-harmful-emissions
  19. Hi, Keep checking the dealer map as we are adding new shops all the time! Kind regards Eddie

  21. Hi, We can not supply 25 litres of Aspen in plastic cans. Aspen Sweden only use recyclable plastics and this is ok for Europe but not here. If you buy 54x 5litre can your supplying dealer can arrange for free delivery and give you a discount off RRP. This saves you time mixing and collecting fuel. All the best Eddie
  22. Type your post code into our dealer locator on the Aspen website and it will list all the dealers with your chosen range 10 or 25 miles etc..... All the best Eddie
  23. Hi, Good advise but you could just run Aspen and see if you need to change these parts as many people have switched to Aspen and not had any need to change any parts. You may need to adjusted the idle stop screw (LA) and or the low speed mixture (L) I would suggest you put aspen in and see "IF" you need to make any adjustments. If you have any questions please call me on 07568108953 or email [email protected] Loads of common questions are answered on our website under Q&A All the best Eddie
  24. Well said Barrie! I have found the same from Arb Talk to dealers to possible customers, things have changed for the better. We are trying to fill in gaps on the dealer map and if you check out the "one reason I use Aspen" thread you will see the new dealers as I add them. Better still use the post code finder on our website to see where the dealers are. Please ask your local dealer if you have a bit of a drive as this helps me when I contact them to see if they would like to stock Aspen. If they know there is demand they will stock it. Please contact me direct if you have any Aspen questions on 07568108953 or [email protected] I am here to help. Thanks for all your support!
  25. If you run on Aspen4 (the blue one) you will not have any fuel related breakdowns and it will keep on working all year round. It will be easier to start and run better. Engine wear will be reduced and many users are telling me their machines are more economical running on Aspen.
